User questions & answers

Question: Does thid mattress have. Fiber tech
Answer: Hi Barbara,We actually bought this for a client who needed some modifications to a memory foam mattress. It fit well for him. There are so many kinds of foam products out there though the key thing is being sure you buy a pad that will fit the depth of your mattress. Measuring should be fairly simple and just be sure to order the right size of pad. Good luck! www.pamelahopedesigns.com
Question: This mattress isn't smooth on top like a regular mattress. Can you feel the ripples and are they uncormfotable
Answer: The mattress pad is quite deep. I have a King size mattress with a pillow top and found that this mattress pad was generous with its fit.
Question: good for full time bed
Answer: It's definitely not as cool as w/out a pad (at least for my mattress designed to be cool). It's not crazy, and I don't mind since it's November, but once summer approaches it may be annoyingly warm.
Question: Do I need to purchase an air pump to inflate this
Answer: It does sleep hot to a noticeable extent. It's not crazy, and I don't mind since it's November -- but for me I'll most likely have to buy something all-cotton for the summer. Re softness, a bit but not much. It's not all that thick.

User questions & answers

Question: I've been through two of these and on the first night they lose air and are unusable. This was on carpet- not chance of punctures. What am I missing
Answer: Only on the top. And I would get last years model, more comfy
Question: Internal pump means you plug it in and it will inflate on its on
Answer: There are "ripples" in the top, however, you don't really feel them. The mattress is very comfortable. I would recommend it anytime.
Question: What is the difference between the standard and deluxe
Answer: It comes with a built in electric air pump to inflate/deflate. Be careful not to over inflate!!! When the instructions say 3 minutes, they mean THREE minutes. As stated in the instructions, the first time you inflate, it will appear to lose air, as the product finishes stretching out. Follow the instructions on when to add a little more air. I use a lot of Intex inflatables, mattresses, pillows, kayaks included. My mattresses that I use DAILY last at least 3-4 years. And I only need to add minimum additional air 3 or 4 times a year. My mattress that I use less often-for camping only, must be at least 8 yrs old now, and doesn’t need topping off on air after I inflate it, like my previous camping mattresses did. My kayak, which I use 3 or 4 times a week, April through October, just finished its 4th year, and is ready to start year 5 in a couple months. The most common reason for problems with the Intex inflatables, are due to not following inflating instructions and over inflating. In the opinion of this indoor/outdoor inflatable enthusiast, the Intex brand of inflatables are the best on the market for value, durability and being easy to use.

Question: Has anyone tried this with an Aerobed? Thanks in advance
Answer: This does have different nozzles and would be compatible with an Aerobed.
Question: Does this fit the Intex kayaks
Answer: The adapters fits perfectly into my Intex kayak and inflates really quick. Get's it about 90% but isn't strong enough to get it really tight. You have to finish off with the hand pump or other higher psi pump.
Question: Can this run while charging, or do have to unplug it to use
Answer: Not while charging, but it can be switched to DC power mode to use while plugged into a DC power source.
Question: Can this be used to inflate automobile tires
Answer: No. This is a low pressure pump. It won't generate enough pressure to fill up a tire. It is just for inflatable pools, beds, etc.
