Answer:	Technically the specification states the maximum load as 250 lbs. However, my wife and I exceed that by at least 100 lbs and there didn't seem to be any issues. If you search You Tube for "Travels with Yoly" and then find a video called "Blackwater River - Part 2 - Kayak Trip" you can see it in action.

I have taken the explorer down a class 3 river the cabarrton river in Idaho with no problems. Take the skeg off if you do rivers, will just cause you problems if you dont, mainly you will loose it. Only use tue skeg in lakes or ponds.

Answer:	Unfortunately, I don't have a pair of these to measure, but I'm pretty sure the only other response which says 10.0" is incorrect. A US men's size 8 is a Euro 41 which equals about 10". I can see from the photo that the fin adds several inches beyond the length of the foot pocket, so I estimate that they're about 16-17" long. I'd like to know the actual total length, too, though. Maybe someone else who owns a pair can provide a more accurate measurement?

Answer:	The Sperry Mako size 9m is similar to a 9D. I wear a 11 1/2 wide which is similar to many manufacturers 11 1/2 E or EE. Amazon Prime does allow for free exchanges.
Question:	Can these be worn without socks
Answer:	I don't wear them without socks. But they are nicely lined and absolutely do feel comfortable either way. So I would say yes, but. I simply feel that with the leather lining, the shoes will stay cleaner and fresher on the inside by always wearing socks. So on warm days I wear short socks that hardly shoe outside of the shoe. I just don't want any perspiration to get absorbed into the leather.

Answer:	Yes. The item I got had a very brittle main body that fractured in many places when dropped from about table or hip height onto a hardwood floor. It was rendered unusable during its first use! If the material selected were tougher this would have been a great bottle - the design is good, the materials for the main body of the bottle are completely inappropriate - or at least were early in 2020.

Answer:	No. What they are showing are the different colors they come in.
Question:	I want to use the J bars on my trailer. The crossbars are 2.5" thick or high and 1.25" wide. Will they fit ok
Answer:	I have used club soda, I know there is a slight difference in the two, with peeled lemons in my bottle without an issue. I do not shake it up or fill it all the way up to the top due to the carbonation. Hope that helps.

Question:	Will these work with a Porta-Bote
Answer:	Probably not when it's open as it would require a more ridgid connection than I recall last time I was around one of the porta boats. Basically these restrain the gunwales, and you strap down to them. Work great with a canoe, ok with a cowling of a kayak, probably pretty well if you could get something like a johnboat up on a rack, but beyond that I'd not really want to trust them.
Question:	do these come with the straps
Answer:	Yes, this comes with bow and stern straps as well as two keep straps (side to side).
Question:	Any reason this wouldn't work for a sit on top kayak carried hull side up
Answer:	I would not recommend the Yakima KeelOver Canoe Racks for a sit-on-top kayak. The profile of the clamps is designed to accept the gunwales of a canoe.Sit-on-top kayaks typically have rounded gunwales which won't fit the KeelOver profile.
Question:	Will this work for a 2018 Chevy Equinox with factory cross rails
Answer:	I use it on a Subaru Outback with the factory roof rack. A 16-17 foot canoe. Works well. Hope this helps.
