Question:	Is this a heavy mat or really lightweight
Answer:	Well, here's my evasive answer...I don't think it matters how thick it is...I really cannot recall exactly, but it was about 1-1/2 to 2" (at least) thick. However, as I said, it really doesn't matter because it was the worst door mat I've ever owned. It sheds uncontrollably and leaves a total mess right outside whatever door it is you have. If it's wet out, you track all the shed material in the house with you...kinda defeats the purpose, wouldn't you say? If I were you, I would look elsewhere. If you want a good coir mat you unfortunately have to pay for good quality. This IS NOT... Hope this helps.
