Question:	Is this the perpetual version
Answer:	The basic software - local non-cloud backup - is perpetual, with free upgrades within the same version. There are subscriptions available for optional cloud services. I run a wide variety of TI versions from 9.1 (on old XP systems, before the cloud was available) to 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 (on newer operating systems - I probably have over 30 licenses), and they all keep working on all the machines with no ongoing costs or renewals. Eventually, they'll stop updating older versions, but they still work fine unless you upgrade to a newer operating system that the older version doesn't support. I don't use cloud backups on any of these.
Question:	Is the 5 pc/mac version a perpetual license or the annual fee? I see given answers all over the map. The product description does not state either

Answer:	Hello, I seriously doubt you can do anything with the ralix ...when I tried to use it, was as if it was blank disk was worthless. Then i returned it and was charged a 12.99 restock fee for using software. Supposedly the disk is only to fix a reboot issue. Supposedly, you can download a of reinstall windows 7 from micrsoft site as discs are no longer available. But I fail to see how you can download from micrsoft if your computer won't boot. If you have windows 7 installed, but just need drivers....You could install a usb wireless adapter to connect to internet..then get all your drivers. Don't know what your situation is, but I would steer clear of ralix.

I'm told insurance companies don't sell policies that cover accidents that happened prior to the policies effective date. To me, Webroot is an insurance policy. $20.00 is a very small premium price for a year.......Wish I could get an insurance deal like that for my Ford pickup truck.

Answer:	As of the time of my writing this (30July2020) the policy as published by Synology is this: "Purchased licenses can be migrated, while default license keys cannot."
