Answer:	Several years ago when I installed an earlier version with another antivirus program, the speed of the computer slowed down. I wrote PCmatic about it and they gave me step by step instructions of what to do to remove Macafee. Since it was about 4 years ago, I do not know how the current version will act. I hope this helps

Answer:	No it won't. All computers have to be physically in the USA or its territories for the installation/renewal to work.

Answer:	They will auto re-new 30 days before your subscription runs out, UNLESS you have turned "Auto-Renew" off on your account. The renewal cost will be huge compared to the original ($30?) price you paid - $139 - $159, etc. If this charge shows up on your credit card, immediately call the support number listed to request a refund. After the usual sales Yadda-Yadda including lower price offerings (still way high) they will politely cancel the charge and refund it to your card very quickly (+/- 48 hrs).

Answer:	There's no cost for auto renewal, however I've always found there's an increase in the price the 2nd year. You're better off to discontinue the auto renewal after your 1st purchase. Then check the price for an outright NEW purchase against the renewal price. Generally it's cheaper to let the old subscription lapse, and purchase a NEW one.

Answer:	With this version of the software, it is activated upon purchase, which means your subscription begins then as well. So you can download later, but the subscription will already be ticking away. This is a Software-as-a-Service version, though, which is not our standard product format. You can choose either the key card version or the digital download version and then you can purchase now and hold onto the key as long as you like before downloading.
