Question:	how easy is it to connect this to a shop-vac? What is the size/shape of the port on the sander than a shop vac hose would connect to
Answer:	Very easy with Ridgid Shop Vacs. Size and shape is a 7/8" outer diameter circle. To connect to Ridgid brand shop vacs, simply use a Carlon 3/4 in. PVC conduit box adapter from Home Depot's electrical department - the inner diameter is a direct fit for the sander's dust port and the outer diameter is a direct fit for the nozzle end of the 1-1/4 inch hoses. The conduit adapter is 50 cents and there is also a Ridgid 3-piece adapter kit for $8.50 to step down to the conduit adapter from the 2-1/2 inch hoses. No glue, no tape, no hose clamps - just press the adapter in and get to sanding.
Question:	How well does it collect dust when attached to vacuum system? I'm comparing this with Festool sander
Answer:	With a small shop vac, mine collects about 90 % of the dust...but needs frequent cleaning of the vac filters....depends on the material being sanded, and the sanding grit being used. With the vac tube open, the sander jets a stream of dust out of the chute. This is an excellent unit....but I have zero experience with Festool.....
Question:	The first picture shows a plastic type "dust bag," while the other pictures show a cloth type bag. Which bag is included? Does it fall off easily
Answer:	I bought mine about 6 months ago. The dust bag is cloth and the attachment does not fall off but could be better designed. I am on by 5th or 6th sander is about 15 years and all handled dust about the same. All of my previous sanders broke or stopped working after about a year and the 2 different Rigid models only lasted about 6 months. This is why I bought this more expensive model. So far it is working great.
Question:	How is the vibration on this sander, can you barely feel it
Answer:	Mine is a very low mileage model. But I can say it is a pleasure to use after having some low cost sanders in the past. I think, even with extended usage, the vibration level is low enough to not cause any stress from using it.

Question:	What sandpaper does this use? 5 hole? 8 hole
Answer:	I plan to use this on a fridge - but a smaller fridge that lives in the garage anyway. It should fit, (Kenmore 69319) but if it doesn't, I'll attach a piece of 3/4" plywood to the mover, then set the fridge on the plywood. It won't be moved often, but it does need to move easily on occasion - more than normal fridge wheels can facilitate. I'll have to figure a way to bolt it down to the plywood if I have to go that route.

Answer:	Make sure your battery is fully charged. This brushless tools aren't as energy efficient as advertised. I use the little 2 Amp Hour XR batteries and I get a solid 30 to 35 minutes max of non stop sanding before I need to swap batteries. If you have still have your issue with a fully charged battery, return the unit.

We wear out at least two of these sanders a year in our shop and we use them to sand wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel daily, and sometimes other types of material as well. If you sand a car this sander would not be suitable for wet finish sanding as it is not sealed for that purpose.

Answer:	I do not know what part he is asking about. The parts for 351/352 are mostly interchangeable. If he can tell be the part number or something more than "a part" I might could help. I do not own a Milwaukee sander. The # 351/352 are porter cable numbers not Milwaukee. He can go to e-parts and get a blue print if he has numbers off his sander. Sorry but without I had a Milwaukee sander to measure the part I can't help. Is the part a shoe pad if so it will about have to be a Milwaukee shoe and pad?

Answer:	Things stay in place and are in fact difficult to remove from holder. Screwdriver bit holders are removeable which allows one to push the bit through and out. I have never had a bit set that didn't either let tools slip around our make them hard to remove. I prefer the latter.

Question:	I need a sander to remove surface rust on my metal patio furniture. With this work for that
Answer:	This sander is designed for flat surfaces. Not really good for patio furniture.
Question:	What polishing pads can be used and where can I get them
Answer:	Any 5 in. hook and loop type sandpaper discs can be used. Any hardware store, Lowe’s or other big box store, Walmart or Target should stock them.
Question:	Can you use this sander indoors since there is a dust collector? Or would you still use outdoors
Answer:	It still makes dust however I use it indoors in a warehouse or basement with no issues. I wouldn’t use any sander in the kitchen or living room and expect it to be dustless. Perhaps if you connected it to a vacuum by a hose it would suit those spaces. Not sure what your intention — nice little sander for the $$

Answer:	There was no manual nor drill bit with mine and don't remember if either was supposed to be provided. If you want a manual go to Ryobi's website and search for one.
Question:	Will this work with bosch compatible papers? there is no mention of the correct paper to use, and no paper options mention b&d compatibility
Answer:	I don’t know but all of the Ryobi tools I have, and I have many, have performed well and lasted a long time. Highly recommended!
Question:	Does the dust collector actually work or does it spew dust all over the place
Answer:	I have no idea, i am a plumbing contractor and i use these drills daily and have had no issue. You just have to be careful how far you push them. We're drilling with 2" and 3" hole saws with little to no issue.
