Answer:	Don't buy these bits. They are inferior quality. Bits shatter. Never had a shattered bit before, dull yes for sure but never shattered.

Answer:	These are not masonry drill bits. I wouldn't recommend that. However DEWALT's DW5207 drill bits set would work.
Question:	I am wondering what type of drill bit is best for drilling in Metal. Some say carbine, some titanium others black oxide. Is it just personal choice
Answer:	For drilling in metal, there are three types of twist drill that work. 1. High Speed steel- this works well, strong material, allows some flexing. Coupled with a Titanium Nitride coating, you will have great durability. 2. Cobalt Steel. This is stronger and more durable than high speed steel, plus it can handle more heat. 3. Carbide- A ceramic drill. This works best, but only if held very rigid. It is not flexible, will chip or shatter with vibration. I would not recommend black oxide twist drills as they are usually made from inferior carbon steel and have the wrong point angle. The point angle is the angle at the cutting point. Softer materials such as wood or plastic work with with an included point angle of 118 degrees, whereas drilling ferrous metal an included point angle of 135 degrees is preferably stronger.

Answer:	They can. I made sure that I kept them well lubricated but still had to sharpen after about 8 holes.

Answer:	Yes, however you will need an 1/8" collet if you don't already have one. Available from Amazon or most hardware stores. The Dremel uses different size collets depending on tool shaft diameter.
Question:	how long are those
Answer:	No . Cobalt drill bits are primarily used for drilling stainless steel. You need a carbide drill bit preferably along with a rotary type hammer drill. If your concerned with cracking the stone and your drilling a larger diameter hole, ( say 1 1/2” diameter)you can purchase a diamond tooth core drill bit and use a regular hand held 3/8” or 1/2” electric drill and pour a little water in the hole as your drilling so it doesn’t bind.

M35 Grade Cobalt Steel

• Cobalt drill bits are not made of pure cobalt, but rather a steel alloy with certain percent cobalt. The 5-percent alloy is known as M35 grade. The cobalt increases the strength of the steel and makes it more heat-resistant.

Lowest Cost Per Hole Drilled

• Cobalt bits are more expensive than ordinary HSS drill bits. But if you regularly drill metals, they are a good investment since they tend to last longer. With an extended life, you can lower the cost per hole drilled.

Be Vertical

• Keep the drill bit vertical with the stuff's surface to be drilled.
• Tilted bit is prone to break during drilling.
• Be sure to make both the bit and the workpiece stable.

Do It Slow

• Drilling metal requires low RPM. Please use a device of which the drilling speed can be adjusted.
• Be careful when you use an electric drill. The RPM could be set too high.
• The thicker the bit, the slower speed should be.

Stay Cool

• Friction between bit and metal will accumulate an amount of heat.
• It's necessary to use cooling liquid during drilling to keep the bit cool. Otherwise, the bit may fry(melt) or only last a short time.
• It's both ok to use lubricant oil and to pour water.

Right Drilling Device

• It's highly recommended that you use a drill press to drill thick metals. It's stable, powerful and (RPM) adjustable.
• If a drill press isn't available, electric drill or charging drill will do the job, too. However, it's more likely you'll meet problems unless you're really experienced.
