Then I put the bedding I wanted to use down over the linoleum tiles. Works great. I cut them slightly so they're only a little bigger than the cage, so they don't stick out to far. They're thick and lay nice and flat.

Answer:	Personally, I prefer not to put the long tubes straight up and down just because I think if it were me I'd be scared of that drop down - if I had no other way of getting around I'd still make the drop... but I wouldn't like it very much. Many hamsters do go straight up and down with no problem but I like to either make 'stairs' out of the elbow tubes for long climbs or for short climbs I like to angle the straight tubes a little so it's not just a straight drop. Mostly I use the longest tubes to go distances flat across.

Answer:	Yes it can. In fact that's how my girlfriend has her's setup. Keep in mind that in order to set it up like picture you'll need more parts.

Answer:	Have you taken him to the vet?! Because that is not normal!! But no he would still need more space! I do not recommend just one for any hamster they need much more room than that! ( my one hamster alone has 5 domes plus tunnels and Addons)

Answer:	That round globe thing on the right in the pic is the water bottle, there is no way to attach and other type. I've have this cage for over a year and had no issues with the water bottle.

Answer:	It is big enough for a Syrian hamster to run in. It is even bigger then the wheels that come with the wired hamster cages. It is similar to the size of the "quiet loose wheels" you always see. It does not make any noise and the white plastic bottom cover catches everything nicely and is easy to take off and clean in between cage cleanings. We love this cage. We replaced the green stepping set with a small house because not one of our hamsters liked that part but we are very pleased with the set.

Answer:	I had this for mice and they all escaped in the same day 😒 Super disappointing. I feel like a dwarf might be able to escape, it’s possible. I ended up giving this whole cage away cause it’s not escape proof, and too small for anything else

Answer:	I believe the tubes would fit a Syrian hamster, but the cage itself much too small for any type of hamster. This cage is 216 square inches. It is commonly agreed that the bare minimum recommended for both Syrian and Dwarf hamsters is 450 square inches, but bigger is always better! This cage seems like would be great for mice, but if you want a good, cheap cage for a hamster I would suggest purchasing a clear plastic bin. It's a cheap and easy option. I bought a $20 clear Christmas tree storage bin for my hamster, it's about 819 square inches. There is plenty of space and I can leave the top off for ventilation! Many commercial cages you see are far too small for hamsters, and the ones that are big enough can be very expensive. Question:	What is the largest wheel I could fit in here
Answer:	I have 5 guinea pigs that live in 3 c&c cages and it lasts me about 1-3 weeks depending on if I spot clean and how much I use in general. The bags are quite large and it expands.I think amazon has a great price, but watch out it does fluctuate- I usually stock up when its $6-$7. I always have at least 2 extra bags around. I order this frequently from Amazon!!

Answer:	Yes my daughter has washed it multiple times already and it’s in perfect condition still
Question:	How big is the tray in highet? 2 inches
Answer:	I didn't have to plug it up. I had never seen a water bottle like this, and thought for sure that it would leak, with the hole directly on the bottom. But it has worked fine for me.
Question:	Can I combine 2 of these into 1 bigger cage
Answer:	Amazon.com : Kaytee CritterTrail 5-Ounce Water Bottle : Hamster . I'm looking to replace mine as well. Gonna buy this because it's very similar and looks like it will fit.
