Answer:	I use a rubber band to secure mine. Velcro strips or gaffer's tape would also work. If you're using this to brew kombucha or a comparable drink, whatever you do, don't set the jar on the heating pad, which is what another user recommended. That's the last thing you'd want to do. Doing this offsets yeast growth and will ruin batches. The variance in temperature throughout the container will also be greater.

Answer:	I'm sure you could, because it is a gentle heat hovering around 70*. You could set the planter inside another container inserting the heater between the two pots! Just be sure the plant pot is large enough for the root system, because with the warmth your plant will continue to grow throughout the winter.

Answer:	The optimal temperature is 37 °C (98.6 °F) so unless your ambient is at or above body heat, Kefir will benefit from a bit of extra heat. It will not grow well under 20 °C (68 °F) or over 45 °C (113 °F). Note that the 3" x 20" strips will wrap around a 6-7" jar.

Labs, collies and similar dogs already wear a coat to help keep them warm. I don’t understand the need for a indoor heating pad for a breed like these. Most larger dogs can tolerate winters. There’s nothing cruel about a dog sleeping outside on most winter nights (wolves, coyotes and foxes in dirt dens manage just fine). However, as a rule of thumb, I bring my dog into the garage on single digit nights just for piece of mind.

Usage:



Plug the DC adaptor into a safety-tested electrical outlet then connect the pet heating pad to 12V adaptor



Make sure that DC adaptor and temperature control cord is positioned to the back of pad



Press "power on/off" key to activate the pad. Press"Temp. up" key to raise temp by 5 degrees every time while "Temp. down" key is opposite



Maintence:



Turn off the pet heating pad and unplug it when you do not use it.



Wipe pad clean with a damp cloth or sponge and do not use any detergent to clean it up. Make sure cover is dry before reassembling it.

1.You'll notice that the heated pad may not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not on the pad. That is normal! The progress of heating is slow to warm when pets in sleeping, need to take almost 10 minutes to heat up when your pets lay on it.



2.Don't soak the heated pad in water.
