You need a separate bulb for that. depending on the size of your enclosure you may be able to use a regular old fashion light bulb to give enough heat. That is what I use for my bearded dragons and it keeps them at the ideal temp on the hot side of tank.

Answer:	No. Bearded dragons need darkness in order to sleep properly. But as long as your beardie's home doesn't get below ~70 degrees at night, you won't need additional heat anyway. Invest in a timer that plugs into the wall and has an outlet that you can plug your light fixture into. Set it for about 12 hours on and 12 off, and your beardie should be just fine. If your beardie's home does get below 70 degrees at night, consider investing in a ceramic heat lamp which puts out no light, only heat. You can get a separate timer so that the ceramic lamp comes on when the other goes off.

Answer:	I think it’s only good for a heat lamp. I tested the one I received with a UV meter and it didn’t display any UV properties.

Question:	I have a 40 gallon breeder tank and I’m getting a baby bearded dragon. What size light fixture should I get for the uvb lamp
Answer:	Your baby starts out in a smaller tank with 1 18" uv light and 1 heat lamp. When your beardie moves into the 40 gallon tank you can add a second uv light and have cool side and hot side in the tank.

Answer:	Yes, this is listed to be safe for fescue, which is what I have in my lawn. It did not harm the grass but also did not do a good job of killing any lawn weeds. I've had better success with ortho weed b gon plus crabgrass killer.
