Answer:	Hello, in order to know accurately if this blanket will fit your yearling, you will need to know your horse's blanket size. This measurement is taken in inches from the center of the chest to the farthest point of the rear. If this measurement is between 42" to 48", then this blanket will fit your yearling. Judging by your horse's height though, depending on how long your yearling is, he will either be too large to fit this blanket or will quickly outgrow it.

Answer:	This blanket is measured using the standard measurement for horses, which is taken from the center point of your horse's chest, measuring straight back over the widest part of their shoulder and belly, and to the farthest point of their flank. This measurement in inches is your horse's blanket measurement. More detailed instructions are given below: For the most accurate results make sure your horse is standing still and square with their head up, on even ground, before you begin measuring. It also never hurts to measure twice to be sure your measurement is correct! Place the beginning of the measuring tape squarely at the center point of your horse’s chest, and have someone hold it securely. Bring the measuring tape back across your horse to their flank, making sure to take the measuring tape over the widest part of the shoulder and belly, and keep it taut and not loose across their body. Hold the end of the measuring tape up to the end of your horse’s buttock at the widest point. The closest full inch size to this measurement (chest to rear) will be your horse’s blanket size. If your horse has a measurement that is not exact, for example, 68.5”, you will want to preferably size up (not down) to the closest blanket size. In this example, this would be size 69”.

Answer:	Using a fabric measuring tape and a helper, measure from the center point of the horse's chest around the side to the edge of the rump by the tail. This will give you a number in centimeters. If your horse is built narrowly, we generally recommend ordering a size down and vise versa, if your horse is broad or stocky, you may wish to go up one size to get the proper fit.

Answer:	We generally recommend measuring from the center of the horse's chest to the edge of the rump by the tail. If your horse is narrow, you may want to round down a size and if the horse is wide in the chest or rear end, going a size up is a good idea to get the right fit.

Answer:	Depending on where you live I think it would be extremely too heavy for summer cover they do have some nice ones that are called sheets I'm very satisfied with this it kept my very old Icelandic Pony warm it was perfect but I don't think it would be good for summer hope I've helped

Question:	Do these blankets run true to size
Answer:	If you talking about 30-45 degree Fahrenheit then no, it would not be too warm and would help keep the horse comfortable. We live in a warm climate but for the few short weeks that the weather is cooler, the blanket does well for both keeping him dry and warm enough. We have a muscled Thoroughbred whose skin is tight with not a lot of fat and although he is warm natured, he does not have a problem overheating on a cool day wearing a blanket. I think that makes a difference too; that is, the fat content on your particular horse. However, on a day as cool as you describe, it is a pretty safe bet that this blanket would be a benefit to your horse.

Question:	Where is the dog coat size chart
Answer:	There are great videos on youtube that explain how to measure. Take a soft tape measure or string and someone to hold the end- start at the middle of the chest, across the shoulder, across to the rump to the middle of the tail. Make sure your horse is standing square. Always go to the next size up if it measures in the middle of the blanket sizes. I've had my blanket for three years and he's wearing it now. Great blanket
Question:	What size would my barrel chested dog fit? His length is 17 in and chest is 23 inches
Answer:	I have my blanket on a donkey, and their proportions are a little different. I had a 50 on her last year and moved up to the 54 this year. It's much better in length over her butt and the side drop. I might try a 46. Even if it's a little long, the butt will be fully covered and the side drop shouldn't be that different.
Question:	Where is the size chart? I'm not finding it anywhere
Answer:	We recommend using a fabric measuring tape and a friend. Start in the center of your pony's chest and measure around its side to the widest part of the rump (not all the way to the tail). If your measurement is an odd number, we recommend ordering the closest available size, rounding up or down depending on your pony's build. A very narrow pony will likely need to have this number rounded down, while a larger/stockier pony will likely do best if the size is rounded up.
