Answer:	Use glass stick or cotton swab to dip a small amount of the substance to be tested on the Yellow test page, and compare the colorimetric card to see the corresponding pH value of the color. If the test strip does not change color or is always a color, it may be because the acidity and alkalinity of the tested liquid is 6, which is yellow just like the color of the test strip, or the pH values of the tested liquids are almost the same.

Answer:	i would not advise 3 drops for 8 oz to be accurate. the container that came with my original test kit only holds about 1/2 tablespoon of water. so if you want/ or need to test 8 ounces you would have to calculate how many 1/2 tablespoons are in 8 oz. approximately 32, times that by 3, you get 96 drops. so it would be easier and more economical to test 1/2 teaspoon of water. hope that helped

If the test water is out of this range, then no.When used with the Taylor K-2006, you can measure the pH in 0.2 increments (from pH 7.0-8.0).

Answer:	Hello Marion, If you purchased your pH testing solution separately, they wouldn't have given you a chart. If you purchased the kit, you would have been supplied with a dual plastic measuring device that shows you how much water to add to the right side chamber prior to putting in the 5 drops of Taylor R0014A to test your pH level. The other side is for testing for chlorine or bromine. In the center of this device is the color guide with a number in the center of each color. Regarding measuring well water pH from the well, I suspect it would be accurate. However, you may want to check with your pool supply manager (some people with wells do have swimming pools) or the company that supplies the filter for the well water to your home. I'm not sure if the minerals in well water would affect the testing solution. You could also contact the Taylor company directly.

Answer:	You need to calibrate your pH meter so that it has a basis of comparison. Once the meter is calibrated itt willgive yu an accurate measure of pH.
Question:	Is there a difference between r-0004 and r-0004-a? my bottle says r-0004. i'm using a taylor series 2000 kit

Question:	The bottle shows #4. What is the difference between this and #14 that is also PH indicator
Answer:	It comes with a buffer powder that you add to a premeasured amount of distilled water. You dip the pH meter in the buffered solution and it auto calibrates.
