Question:	Just discovered I have pex piping.. How do I proceed
Answer:	PEX is just a supply line. It is an excellent product and would have no affect on using this filter system since all connections are made after the shut off valves under the sink. Now if you choose to put a filter inline and not at the valve, then special PEX brass connectors will be needed along with a PEX tool for installation.
Question:	How often do you need to change the filter
Answer:	Hi dear customer, The filtration capacity for Chlorine is 5000G, and filtration life for LEAD is 1000G, so the filter life can be 1-3 years depend on your daily usage and it can even be 3 years, but we won’t suggest you do the cartridge change that long. As you know the filtration performance is dropping gradually when time goes by, so the longer time you use, the less good water you get. The best time is 1 year or less, the filter cartridge maintenance is much cheaper than the other brands, so it will still save you a lot of money even you change often. Frizzlife suggest no matter what brand of water filtration you will get, do not use that for over 3 years not changing the cartridge, the performance of filtering will be very very low.

Answer:	It is connected with a 1/4 inch compression connection. It is meant for a low flow system such as a water filtering system. It is not to be used for your main water faucet.

Answer:	It only has one water line going up to the faucet, so I believe that would make it a NON air gap faucet.
Question:	Hi. Is this a polished shiny stainless steel finish or brushed steel finish
Answer:	Not sure what you mean by how large should the sink cut out be. The sink cut out should fit the sink, assuming you’re doing an Undermount sink. With an Undermount sink the tap will have its own cut out which should be slightly smaller than the round piece that sits on the top of the counter. You have to place it so that the spout will run the water into the sink. You also want the hole in the counter for the faucet to be entirely covered. I had some problems getting it to work because our counter is three-quarter inch granite and had plywood rough decking underneath it and the spool piece that fits below the counter wasn’t long enough so we had to make some adjustments. If you have three-quarter inch plywood with laminate countertop glued on it you wouldn’t have this problem but when you have three-quarter inch Plywood rough deck and three-quarter inch granite slab on top of it the 1.5” was too deep for the spool. However we cut into the plywood so the depth of the spool only had to go through the granite. That worked.

Answer:	Yes it can, I had it installed on my drill press and decided to move it on my cnc and it works great. It took some doing to turn the lasers 180 deg because I mounted it to the front of the motor, but it works.

These berkey black elements require a thorough rinse under water rub with hands and brush with (designated new clean sink brush) seeing the black soot from manufacturing come off...thats what your tasting (like the top of someones roof shingle). Also a casual rinse through the exiting opening. Dont over pressure rinse these (the white floride filters are known to blow out and damage with violent pressure) cheers!

Answer:	Each filter can process 3000 gallons, so if you have 2 in your unit like we do, figure up what you use in a week or day and extrapolate. My family of 5 uses about 2.5 gal per day so about 900 gal/year, so (6000/900=6.67) about 6 years. Incidentally, you should follow the directions and clean the filters every month or so with new green scotch pads to remove the chemicals and lime it is filtering out that accumulate on the outside. That will restore faster flow if it has slowed.

Can this system reduce TDS?

Please note that this Undersink Water Filtration System cannot reduce TDS. Not for hard water.

Answer:	There is a small amount of vertical adjustment. I had to set it on a step ladder to get a level line on wall cabinets. The laser line isn’t very bright. If you’re hanging curtain rods, do it at night. You’ll never see the line in daylight.
