Answer:	The pillow should remain in the filter. When you use this be careful of the PH in the tank. I have found that the pillow can cause the PH to go quite alkaline and some fish are very sensitive to this.

Answer:	The instruction I found online say that it should not be left in for long periods. And, you can recharge it with sunlight, if you use it for the period of time only long enough to get the change you are looking for in the water. Thanks my experience.

I use a plastic Chinese to-go dish, the white rectangular ones.

Question:	Will this work for a 125 gal
Answer:	First, let’s look at the filter stats. For a c360, the specs read that it has a flow rate of 360 gallons per hour. What the manufacturer may or may not state is that this number is typically derived using an empty canister with zero head height (the distance the water will have to be lifted in order to be pumped back into the tank). Once you pack the canister with sponges, polishing pads, and media, and then pump the water 3-4’ up to the tank, that 360gph rating is essentially cut in half (down to approximately 180gph). The second thing to consider is your stocking level, which will ultimately determine your filtration needs. If you put 1 guppy in your 125 gallon (understocked), it will require far less filtration tan the same tank overstocked with Mbuna cichlids. Typically speaking, a tank that is moderately stocked should have a water turn over rate of roughly 5 times per hour. If you have a 125 gallon, this would mean that you would require a total filtration of 625 gallons per hour. Now, remember to take the true gph based on media and head height, and you’d need roughly 3.5 times the amount of filtration necessary to achieve a 5 times turn over rate per hour using c360’s on your 125 gallon. One will not cut it if your tank is moderately stocked.
Question:	Will water be crystal clear
Answer:	Water will be clear when you first start it. Depending on what type of marine life you are housing will be how clear the water remains. I have an eastern painted turtle and the tank needs to be cleaned monthly because they are dirty reptiles. I imagine that fish are much cleaner and the tank can be cleaned less frequently. But you still need to do periodic cleanings according to the instructions.

Answer:	I needed to crease napkins so i just laid them on the ironing board and “ironed” therm with the steamer. It worked perfectly. I imagine you would be able to do the same with your pants.

Answer:	Yes, I use a plastic hanger bc the wood can stain your clothing. There is a spot to hang next to where you hook the hose at the top. Love this steamer. Word of warning, do not leave water in it when not in use. After each use, I take the water bucket out and allow it to continue steaming until the water in the machine is gone. This prevents spores from growing and prolongs usage of steamer I believe.
Question:	what is the weight/amount of carbon in each bag
Answer:	As previously mentioned, the metal head acts heats up and can be used as a traditional iron, but for steaming it's bulky (large diameter) and too heavy to hold for any length of time. I exchanged the metal head for the plastic head

Answer:	I would try and refrain using saltwater setups for freshwater, although the filtration will not cause any harm to the water or your fish. The saltwater light provides high intensity (trying to recreate the sun) and may lead to algae and other pests such as diatoms, which make it a very hard hassle to keep at bay. Best bet if this is the setup you want to find a way to replace the light with some regular leds and save you’re self the trouble of constantly trying to fight algae and bacteria growth.
Question:	Can I change the direction of the water coming out of the nozzles? For example directing it upwards instead of horizontal
Answer:	The Fluval Evo V is designed for saltwater having a 11000K light and 3 stage filter, the spec V is for freshwater with a 7000k light. So it depends on what you want to put in the tank.

It causes the surface of the water to slope into the return thus skimming the surface. Answer:	I think you will be happy with this filter. I am using one in my 200 gal fish tank I like it because 1. it is a good filter 2. It keeps the water oxygenated. ( lot's of bubbles ) :-) when I get my 75 gal tank ready I all ready have one for it.
Question:	After 1 year using the cascade 300 it is making noises now and sounds like it is sucking air or something. It is really annoying
Answer:	I have the Cascade 100 and think this may be my problem too. I take it apart, clean it, refill it, and it works for maybe a day or so then the water level goes down to a trickle. I tried playing around with the flow adjuster and it doesn't seem to do anything at all. It's so annoying! I can't seem to find a way to permanently fix it! I also have a Cascade 20 and have no issues with it at all.

It is better to let your under gravel filter be your biological filter and have a mechanical filter to remove the debris floating in the aquarium water. Answer:	As long as you need to.
Question:	How many would I need to fill three trays in a Sunsun 704b
Answer:	The base is heavy, yes. I don't know about the hose but I believe you don't need to remove it. I would recommend getting the smaller jiffy steamer with the plastic water container instead of this. This one is not much more powerful and very cumbersome.
Question:	Does this need to go into a sump or can you just place them in a tank to eventually use in a new tank for quick cycling
Answer:	If you want a good, reasonably-priced floor steamer, I would recommend a Shark. I've had one for a couple of years now, and I love it! I paid well less than $100 for it; though I don't remember exactly what I paid, I believe it was even less than $50 on sale at a local big box.

Question:	How big microns is high flow version
Answer:	Hi Jane, The pump is not submersible and remains outside of the container you have your fish in. The tube is inserted into the water and needs to be held at the bottom of the bucket (or ice chest in our case). We put weights on it to hold it down but monitored it closely as the fish would sometimes knock it loose and the opening of the tube would float to the top where it did no good at all. If we were to use these more frequently we would devise a good, fool (or fish) proof method to hold it down.
Question:	Will these bags hold marineland black diamond premium activated carbon? The pieces are small & fell through other mesh bags
Answer:	I use 2 on a 48 quart cooler I converted into a portable livewell... Works fantastic for Herring, even though they are are sensitive...
Question:	Where is the big size for this
Answer:	Just in case someone else has this question-- Running on one battery doesn't change the amount of bubbles at all. This actually has just a 1.5 volt motor on the pump. It will run on only one battery. The second battery just gives longer run time.

Question:	How long is the spray bar end to end
Answer:	I own the biomaster 350 and 600. I haven't cleaned them in 4-5 months. And when I do, I only have to pull the pre-filter out to clean it. the majority of the gunk is caught there. So in answer to your question this unit does not have activated carbon, but you can buy it and fill one of the filter trays with it. It comes with 4 stage external filters with biological, mechanical and chemical filtration and a pre-filter. The trays are large. To be honest this is a excellent external filter. They may cost a little more. But get what you pay for in this case.
Question:	What is the diameter of the hosing
Answer:	Hi, The built-in heater provides your aquarium with precise and uniform temperature levels with adjustable control. The heater is on a separate power cord from the filter. Hope this helps!
