Question:	is this safe to use in a reef tank
Answer:	The main point of this product to to establish beneficial bacteria on your biological filtration media within the filter. I try to add it as directly to the filter as possible, and would avoid any media that may block it from getting through. The filter socks might be fine, but i'd be concerned about the skimmer. Maybe have the skimmer off for an hour or so after using this, to allow maximum filtration through the media.

Answer:	If you need to ask that question, it should be said that you keep razor AWAY FROM THE SILICONE. Use at an acute angle to scrape everything from biofilm to algae off the glass. Very efficient, possibly more dangerous for the life of your tank. Stay away from 90 degrees, and don't use it above the water line without dipping in water. This helps not scratch your tank or damage your blades Very helpful for the ring above the water line. Probably not for use on acrylic.
