Because the working principle of this machine is that its internal motor will drive the water to form a water cycle, allowing the water to pass through the machine continuously, and the UVC bulb installed inside the machine will sterilize and purify the water which passing through it. So the machin can use to kill the bacteria, viruses, and algae floating in the water, but it can't kill the hair algea which grow on the rocks or wall . becaue the hair algea will not pass throught the machine

Answer:	In the experimental test, the average life of the bulb is 8,000 hours, but in actual use, the life may not be exactly the same because of the different environments used in each home. Question:	I would like to use these to uplight Halloween tombstones would they be strong enough lighting for that
Answer:	I think they would be fine using the clear white lights.
Question:	is there any way to order more remotes if i need one for each light? (on the mini 38mm ones that only come with 2 controllers and 10 lights
Answer:	All remotes work with every light. I used the same remote for all the lights. If you are using multiple lights together but want them on different settings/colors, just take the remote and light into another room, set as desired, then place where you’d like to use it. If you try to change the setting in place, other lights nearby may respond to the remote as well.
Question:	Can these lights stay on one solid color
Answer:	Yes they can stay on one solid color. However, I didn’t get to enjoy them for a few minutes. Once I clicked on the different colors, all but two went out and would not come back on in dry conditions. Good luck 🍀 on getting them to work.
Question:	Is there a way to preset to change to 2 colors only
Answer:	You need to make the change thru the remote. Take one light at a time into an area away from the other lights. Set the one light to the color that you want it to be. Do the same thing to the remaining light. The key is not to have all lights around you when trying to change the coloring.

Question:	Does it work with a timer and does it have a white light setting
Answer:	Mine is in the underneath side of the lids... love it! Mines a 50 gallon
Question:	if i set this light on an already purchased timer will it always turn back on the same color every morning
Answer:	Have been using them for 4-5 months, does not generate heat that you would notice. We have been very happy with them and we have two in our 55 gallon tank.

Answer:	Nope! It's totally fine to sit outside of the water. It's just waterproof so people have the option of submerging it.
Question:	I know this is probably a dumb question...but can this light just do white light? As well as colors
