Answer:	I don't remember and I don't have the package info anymore. Although I can tell you that I use it in my 29 gallon tank and it's a very sufficient amount of white light. Probably enough lumen to supply up to a 40 gallon tank. The blue night mode is very dim and tranquil.

Answer:	If you already have a Marineland hood with an opening for one of their lights, then this will probably fit. If you have just a plain glass top this will still work, but this light is designed specifically to fit Marineland aquarium hoods.

Answer:	If you have a 10-gallon Marineland kit that came with a hood then it will fit. This is the same light that comes with the 29G kit and it is the same size (but more LEDs) then what come with the 10G. I wanted more light in my 10G so moved this one from my 29 to 10 and bought a Finnex Stingray and glass top for my 29.

Answer:	it will work for some plants but all you would need to do is get a plant light to put into the hood. which would work better. you should be able to replace the bulb with the right light for plants. so to your question the light is not suitable for plants but a easy fix.

Answer:	I have 2 20G aquariums. 1 20G tall (24" x 12") and 1 20G long (30" x 12"). The tall aquarium I bought as a kit and it came with a Marineland hood. The light in the hood works great. It lights up the aquarium really well and I have lots of live plants that are thriving in that aquarium. So, when it came time to set up my long aquarium, I decided to go with another Marineland hood and purchased this one. I was quite disappointed to find that they use the same light bar for both the 24" and 30" hoods. This does not work well at all for the long aquarium. The sides and corners are not well lit enough. I do have some live plants in this aquarium, but I have to keep them toward the center of the aquarium. I wouldn't recommend this hood if you need/want a lot of light in your aquarium.

Question:	How many LEDs are in this fixture
Answer:	If you leave the plastic protector on the sockets they are the same diameter as a regular impact socket but if you take the plastic off they fit in any wheel atleast any wheel I've ran into. You just obviously have to be carful without the plastic on them
Question:	Do some of the actinic lights look blue and some look purple
Answer:	I have researched other sellers online and only one said there was a warranty but did not disclose what the warranty was so I personally do not believe there is a warranty especially on a tool that has to withstand a heavy beating as it were
Question:	will the light penetrate to the bottom of a 24" tall aquarium
Answer:	I believe it’s harden steel. They will ruin any lug you take off. But damn they work good!

Question:	how many watt is this light
Answer:	It says to use whole bottle up to 100 gallons
Question:	Can this be submerged in water or must it stay dry
Answer:	1- Have your tank set up exactly how you want it 2- fill the tank with conditioned, chlorine free warm water. 3- Turn on your filter, any air stones, and heater 4- Have one fish ready to float when you pour in the bacteria. If you go 3 hours without a food source, the bacteria may die. Also, do not be tempted to add more then one fish at this point. 5- pour in the entire bottle and add your fish. 6- Have ammonia/nitrite/nitrate testing strips ready to test your water daily for the next few days. Be ready in an emergency to change 30%-50% of the water if the ammonia spikes and you want to save your fish 6- Once you see nitrate on your test strip, your tank is cycled. 7- test regularly. Your tank will have a much more stable cycle in 3 weeks to a month. Brown/green slime will start to grow in your filter. Feel free to add more fish, one at a time.
Question:	Does this have blue light, white light or both
Answer:	You can, if you wish to, but it is not necessary. I would recommend using 1/3 of the bottle, cap the bottle tightly, and store it properly. It will be good for up to 6 months afterwards. Since the tank is new, you may want to add more when you add an additional fish, or after your first water change. Question:	When I clip the light onto the side of my tank, the lights are actually pointing up instead of down into the water. Is that correct
Answer:	On the product information page, http://www.amazon.com/Tetra-77962-SafeStart-70-gallon-8-45-Ounce/dp/B002DZNP3E/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t, it states that the 8.5 oz bottle will treat up to 70 gallons. When I used it, I just dumped the whole bottle into my tank (a 44 gallon).
