Question:	Does this collar work with and without the remote
Answer:	Mine has never blown off. I would try wrapping tape around the inside rim of the lid to make it tighter.
Question:	Does this product come with proper training directions? I keep reading that they only work if used properly
Answer:	The top can be removed and used as a garbage can but it is rather small for that. I’d say probably a 3.5 gal bag would be long enough. We use our fireplug as a decoration in the fenced yard for our small dogs.

Question:	When you take a break, is there a way to silence to beeper so it doesn't beep as if the dog is on point? (beside turning it off at the collar
Answer:	Most brands that we have purchased come with both short and long contact points. the thicker the dogs coat, the longer the probes will have to be in order facilitate contact with the dogs skin. Long haired breeds such as the Samoyed, Golden retriever, Husky etc may require you to shave some hair where the probes are supposed to contact the skin. That being said, it is not recommended that you leave these collars on for any period of time as they can causes abrasion and damage to the soft skin located on the neck of the dog. Of equal importance is to have a correctly fitted collar that does not restrict the dogs breathing/airway or movement given that dogs only method of removing the majority of excess heat from the body is via exhalation through the mouth. Further note and free advice based on what we have learnt from in owning dogs for over 20 years: NEVER leave your dog unattended in a vehicle even when you have left the windows cracked or partially open and the temperature is what we, as humans would term a nice day (this will depend on the country you reside in, hence why I have not provided a temperature range) as dogs body will overheat a lot faster than ours. In hotter climates such as in Australia, you should also consider the time that you exercise the dog and the ambient temperature of the surface that you are walking the dog on (if it is too hot for a human baby, its probably too hot for your dogs feet. I hope that my answer long winded as it was, helps all who read it out. Apologies for hijacking this question, its just that having friends as vets, you get to hear about what happens when people, not deliberately, just don't understand how quickly you can lose the most beautiful family member, your dogto heat stress.

Question:	i've got 2 collars, (older ones) fr-200b & fr-200a, will they work with this system? i had them with a sd-800 system, but transmitter went bad
Answer:	If they're both pups, then maybe?? I'm not sure what size a husky puppy is. We have a 20-pound dog who grew up using this pad when necessary. He's full-grown now (at 20 pounds), and uses it very neatly, maybe once a day. (When we're gone for a full day of work.) Using it once/day with his size means we clean it about once every 5-7 days. So if your husky is under 20 pounds, I'd say it'd be okay as long as you have a chance to rinse it out when needed.
Question:	Does it come with rechargeable batteries and a charger
Answer:	You can order them on line or your local pet store. I find those to be expensive. I go to Lowe’s or HomeDepot and buy artificial grass by the yard

Answer:	I did not notice a red mark on mine, and I installed mine in a way that allowed the wire point toward the rear. I don't believe it's segmented and calibrated for individual strings, it's a single piece designed to pick up ALL frequencies simultaneously. It works beautifully on my 3D printed violin.
Question:	How do you get the vibration only mode to work? I don't need to use stimulation, only the vibration for a deaf dog. Thank you
Answer:	Mine has a thin black rubber pad (harder than foam) on the bottom of the round microphone, and I have not experienced distortion. I find the best fidelity by clipping it in the bottom F sound hole (one nearest the E string) and in the end of the hole nearest the tail piece.
