It then expands out towards the seat post down fork about a 1/2" so the fit is really tight, and I have full confidence a bumpy or milled road surface will not vibrate it off of the cross bar. I do take the pump off once finished riding when storing the bike so that the spring mechanism holding it onto the cross bar doesn't wear out. | Answer: | Not at all, the only adjustment that needs to made is turning the chuck pressure adjuster which constricts or enlarges the rubber washer hole. If the adjustment to thee valve stem hole is not perfect then the chuck will blow off the valve stem. Its a bit frustrating until you get it right but once it is adjusted correctly you will have no further issues and the system works well. |
