Answer:	I asked my vet. She said no residual damage—but I think it’s more like hearing a weird STARTLING sound. It startled my dog and all of a sudden she stopped barking and looked at me. Answer:	I have two dogs. My older dog stops barking but the puppy will bark a few more times before he stops. It does stress out my other dog. She goes in a corner and shakes :( I tried the shock color but when the older dog barks and the puppy doesn't, then the puppy is being shocked because of the other dog! I can't win :(

Answer:	The red light comes on when it detects barking. The green light flashes every few seconds to show that the battery is still working.
Question:	Do these have an on/off switch? I have the larger version and the back has broken because of having to remove the battery so it isn't on all the time
Answer:	It seems it really depends on how sensitive your dog is to sound, and it's reason for barking in the first place. I bought ours when we brought a new dog into the home and she had separation anxiety. We only needed to use the unit a few times before she stopped barking. Whether the cessation came from using the unit or from her settling in, is hard to say. But when the unit was turned on and she barked, the response was immediate and obvious.
