For me it did not work for me because first off the plastic house was not long enough for me to drape it over the edge of the pool and have it run off into my storm drain. I was able to get water into the house easily , but it would stop at the bend. Due to the fact that my pool is sunk into the ground about a foot , it did not reach our town code for height so we had to put a fence around the top of the pool. This what causes us a problem , not so much the product but more so our pool set up. I ended up having to purchase a more expensive electric pump.

Question:	How long does the batter last
Answer:	I don't know because they are part of my security system so I've never tried to take them off. They do however buzz at times when they get very hot. (I live in AZ) They aren't very loud either. Neighbors never heard one going off for over 10 minutes.

Answer:	These do work off of vibration. If there is not enough movement then the alarm will not sound. If this is directly on a door then there is a high chance that the door itself absorbs most or all of the vibration necessary to set off the alarm. Question:	Will this system be able to function if I need to use all 5000' of wire
Answer:	I don't know but probably not as they take an enormous amount of vibration on the window itself to set them off. They are not very loud either as I cannot hear them on the other side of my (1400sqf) house. I do not recommend this product.
Question:	Can you put the wire above the ground as well as bury it

Answer:	Mine and many others (read reviews) at times go off randomly no where near the perimeter. My dog has been shocked as far as 30 feet from the boundary. It has happened enough that my dog is now scared to go into the yard at all. Customer service was no help at all. Save your money and buy a better brand. When the unit is working like it should, the distance can be set by a dial on the transmitter, anywhere from about 1 foot to 6 feet.

Answer:	Yes. Each section comes with instructions on how to shorten it. You basically unscrew the screen from one end, cut it, and screw it back.

On the other and where there is brick I would screw an eye bolt in the brick and then use one of the hooks from the fence to secure it so you can remove it if you want. Answer:	The wire doesn't have to be buried. However, it is safer so it doesn't accidentally get caught in a mower blade or tripped over. We have parts of our fence that are above ground when it runs from the ground to up under our deck. I cut a slice down a foam wading tube and slid the wire in where the wire is exposed from the ground to the porch. We used plastic Christmas light fasteners to put it under our deck. We are "extremely" happy we invested in this fence. It has brought us peace of mind.

Answer:	I'm not sure if you get the standard 500' roll of small gauge wire. But the 14 gauge works well with the yard max system. I received the 2000' roll along with a 500' roll of what I am guessing to be 20 gauge? I didn't even use the thin wire. And the 14 gauge has been rock solid since I installed it.

The Perimeter Technologies electronics in the collar receiver is designed specifically to provide a more cost effective solution to replacing an Invisible Fence brand collar, or adding an additional (or more) dog to your existing fence.



The collar receiver is completely waterproof and submersible up to 10' deep. It only weighs a mere 1.1 oz., making it one of the lightest electric dog fence receivers available. The collar is available in both 7k and 10k frequencies, to accommodate either frequency that an Invisible Fence brand system may be set to function in.
