Answer:	I have a 36 inch Craftsman snow blower, and, yes it does fit. I have replaced three of them in three years, however, it was not do to manufacturing. I have tried to find away to add an shut off valve to the fuel line, but they are to small and crammed in to the housing. The only other thing is when you are finished at the end of the season is to drain fuel and let it run until it is all out of the carburetor otherwise it will gel up. May also try a different fuel for small engines.
