She has to nudge it up with her nose then pulls it out with her paw. It does take a little while for her to get them so I only use 2 of the white caps. If I want to keep her occupied longer I can use all 4.

Since your dog is 1/2 the size, I'd go for the smaller size. My larger hedgehog has had his toes chewed off over a 6-year period. The Junior does not have a rattle or a grunter noise which were in the Extra Large/Jumbo sizes I bought for a German Shepherd, only a squeaker inside.
