Answer:

I have 5 dogs of different breeds. One of them is a nine month old pit bull puppy. This dog inhales his food before I've got the others fed. Being a puppy he chews on everything. HOWEVER the wooly mat slows him down so much it's incredible. He is so intent on getting the kibbles out of the mat he doesn't think about chewing the things sticking up. I do think if I left the mat down after I fed him he would eventually start chewing it. I did find that because the kibbles I give him are small I had to cut the stand up things down a bit. I have another dog that I bought a wooly mat for- -adult dog, non chewer- the mat works great for slowing down his eating. I would definitely recommend the wooly mat to slow down your dogs eating. I've tried other things to slow eating habits but nothing as good as the wooly mat. I do agree that it's ugly and expensive but really worth it.

Question:	How do you wash the snuffle mat? What are the care instructions? Can you dry it in the dryer
Answer:	We use smaller kibble, Taste of the Wild, and it's almost too small. I don't think it would be very useful for the large size kibble, you'd have to refill it several times to get a reasonable portion size. But the medium to small sizes work very well. I'm not sure of diameter measurements, at a guess I'd day you don't want to go any bigger than the size of a dime.

Answer:	From the Company's Website: "Everlasting Treat Ball (medium and small sizes), Everlasting Bento Ball (all sizes), Treat Dispensing Chew Ball (medium size), and Treat Ringer Orb are made in USA. The remainder of our products are made in China at this time."

Answer:	The top yellow part is removable. Under that you will find the rotating parts that let you adjust the size of the opening for different food/treat sizes. That is also removable, but not easy. I clean it by soaking it in soapy hot water and rinsing. I have not had any problems and my dogs love it!

Answer:	This toy is made of hard plastic. It is not very noisy, just the noise of kibbles rolling around inside as your dog rolls the toy to get the treats. It is a fun toy for a dog. :)

Answer:	Yes, it's quite durable, our boy didn't destory it when he's eating and did not treat it as a toy, I only leave it down while he's eating and take it back after he's done.
