Answer:	No. These are long sleeves. Only way a gap would show at the top is if you were wearing a tank top. But my sleeves will reach up onto the ball of my shoulders.

Answer:	No seams. Just one style. I just fold the end of the sleeve that covers the hand back. The sleeve has a hole where the thumb goes thru when worn over the hand.

Answer:	I don’t think so. They’re made out of reinforced fabric, so they do get wet if they get in contact with any kinds of liquid. If you’re if they’re fire resistant I don’t know the answer but they seems like partially heat resistant.

Answer:	I wouldn't. I left it on my mare for 24 hours and she managed to take it off and bury it in manure. Although if you're just planning on using it for trailering it works perfect. My mare wore it for 8 hours straight on our way to a show and it was perfect

Answer:	No seam and they are a bit tight on hand if pulled off top knuckles. Dose not stay on thumb as photo graphed, but then I have large thumb-knuckles with arthritis. Only downside is they will snag on things. Material fibers are like a pair of support stockings or tights. Wash in net bag in machine or wash by hand for protection.

Answer:	I noticed your concern about fitting this in your 1998 Mercury. Surprisingly yes it does fit perfectly! I have a 2004 Nissan Xterra and the tail light set up is pretty much identical.

Answer:	it fit in length and width but the holes drilled into the cap do not all line up so you can use the push pins to secure the lip of the cap. Someone didn't ensure all the push pins holes matched or I either received a bad part.
