Answer:	The same thing happened to me. My initial bag was good, the chews were moist, chewy, not stuck together. The second bag I got in March 2018 were dry, hard, crumbly and a different color. I called customer service and they sent out another bag and I got it the next day. This one was better, but not as good as the first bag. These were clumped together, kind of hard, but at least better than the 2nd bag. I keep them in a lock and lock container. I almost afraid to get another bag and the price has jumped significantly.

Answer:	I have bought both Cosequin and Dasuqiun tablets for my larger, older dogs. Both seem to provide my dogs with relief for their arthritis. Both are made by NutraMax.The active ingredient for Cosequin DS Chewables for Dogs; Glucosamine (500mg), Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate (400mg), Manganese (as ascorbate 5mg). Dasuquin with MSM for large dogs contains Glucosamine Hydrochloride (900mg), Methylsulfonomethane (MSM) (800mg), Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate (350mg), Avocado/Soybean Unsaponifiables, also known as ASU, (90mg). The ASU in Dasuquin with MSM seems to be the big difference.My dogs prefer Dasuquin. I think it tastes better. I can give them a Dasuquin tablet and they eat it right away. With Cosequin I have to crush up the tablets and serve it in their food.Either product helps with arthritis. But the dogs develop immunity to this after a while and they start limping again. After a few days off of either product with a return to these tabelts, results are immediate and the dogs walk with less of a limp.I keep Dasuquin in my Amazon cart and get it whenever the price falls to around $72. I have five dogs, from three to eleven years of age, and they all get these as a treat. My oldest dog, however, is the one who gets this every day.

I plan to investigate with Amazon how they can ensure the safety of this product if Nutramax says they do not supply them with it.

Answer:	Neither. Try COSAMIN DS first. It's not as big a hit as the Da$$aquin compounds. We have 2 German Shepherds and our boy had/has SIGNIFICANT right hip dysplasia clearly visible on x-rays over six (6) years ago at that. We started him on COSAMIN DS immediately and it's been just short a miracle. Always wanting to do better for him we just ordered the Dasuquin MSM too and will mix it with the Cosamin DS to see if together they help him even more. Our Alpha Girl thank God has never shown any symptom of joint problem anything. They have the same Pop, but different Mom's. But really. IF you haven't already, TRY COSAMIN DS FIRST, and give it a FULL 30 Days to absorb well into the joints, surrounding cartilage, and connective tissues. You can always try, add. or combine the different compounds. I never believed in NON-prescription remedies, but this stuff made me a Believer. Question:	Difference between Cosequin and Dasuquin
Answer:	Dasaquin is a more potent formulation and I highly recommended spending the extra $ for it. My Vet at Cornell Vet School Orthopedics recommended it for my Sheltie/Collie mix when she first began showing signs of arthritis. I gave these to her daily for 6 years and did eventually add Rimadyl for the last 3 years but my girl lived a very healthy & active life to the age of 17 years. Giving either supplement is going to be helpful but you must do it daily and honestly , with the older & larger breeds, spend the extra and get the top of the line: Dasaquin.

Answer:	Hello. We have our senior dog (80lbs, 13 years old) on both Cosequin & Previcox. Both products have greatly improved our boys' senior years. We first started him on Cosequin a few years ago & saw great changes in his mobilty & activeness. Before Cosequin he had a REAL hard time getting up from the laying down position. Cosequin helped that a good bit, also made him more active. After some time, he began having some more mobility issues (mainly with stairs), frequent soreness, & also just seemed lazier than usual sometimes, for lack of better terms. Previcox changed that for him - his mobility improved, as well as his activity level (he plays like a pup daily with his favorite squeaky ball), & his overall mood improved also. Plus soreness was no more! Cosequin + Previcox have been an amazing combo for our boy & we'll continue to keep him on it. We even have our 20 lb, almost 3 year old min pin chihuahua mix on Cosequin as well (she has luxating patella & it's helped her knee slip out less often). I highly recommend both supplements. We've tried many (including Dasuquin) & none have come close to Cosequin & Previcox.
