Answer:	We have been using this for quite some time and absolutely love it. After I wash my cats I towel them off and then when they clean themselves it isn't an issue. Have never had any of my fur babies get sick from it. We also use this same brand for our dog, it works great on both.

Answer:	It was safe to use on my cat. He cleaned himself after I used it on him, and he never got sick. So I think it's safe enough for dogs. The scent is pretty too and not overpowering.
