Question:	Is this a quiet machine? I have not shaved my kitty before and he is 8, I am afraid he will be too scared if it makes a loud noise when it is on
Answer:	My vet offers cat shaving for long haired cats whose mats need to be cut off. We rescued a half wild cat who won't let us brush or trim claws. The vet tech does a great job once a year on this cat. So yes, some cats do need to be groomed on their undersides. We've used Wahl clippers for many years on our various dogs and always get great results. Other brands aren't as easy to use in my opinion.
Question:	Do these work well on a thick curly coat? My cocker spaniel has been very difficult to groom at home due to clippers not going through his coat
Answer:	I have a Shih Tzu and her hair gets very long. I am also very familiar with the Cocker Spaniel coat as I have owned one as well. Yes it will work fine. Go slow in the direction of the hair, not against the direction. Keep the blades moderately oiled. Also make sure you detangle any possible knots and brush thoroughly before you cut. You will be fine.

Answer:	It's actually really easy. It has different guards on it so you don't get two close at first. As long as you can get your dog to sit still and you go slow you shouldn't have any problems.

Answer:	I haven't tried using it on people, but it works very well on dogs and cats. The different heads for the trimmer are intended for different lengths of fur, not human hair. There are human hair trimmers on the market that would probably work better on people.

Answer:	i just used this on my cats. with the shortest comb ... i'm having trouble clipping the fine fur on the stomach and sides.

Question:	Initially charged easily. Used twice and when tried to use third time, battery appeared dead would not take a charge. Ideas
Answer:	I've had the same problem with two sets of their clippers. Lithium ion batteries are not this unreliable. These are cheap clippers that lack any form of battery management. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a higher quality set of clippers rather than trying to replace the battery.
Question:	I cannot get the attachment comb off the blade. Any suggestions
Answer:	All I had to do was push up on the attachment. Push up towards the end of blade. Or call the company they are suppose to have phone support.

Answer:	I had the same issue at first and was about to return the clippers but I figured out that you got to kinda push the comb completely down towards the clipper blade until it clicks into place.

Answer:	I prefer to use a comb with tines much closer together for the daily grooming of my cats and use this tool when mats are present.

Answer:	I have three cats. One is long haired, one is short haired, and one is VERY short haired. For the long-haired cat, this works well. My short-haired cats, it works less well, but did do a decent job at getting some mats out of the standard short haired cat. The very short haired cat, this doesn't do much for, it's more productive just to brush her.
Question:	How does this compare to a furminator
Answer:	The furminator has tines that are really close together. My dogs did not like it because it pulls their thick hair. This product has one side where the teeth are pretty far apart. Use this side first until you get a lot of the loose hair off or until your dog gets used to it. Then turn it over and use the side with the teeth closer together to finish removing the loose hair. My dogs enjoy this product, they would not tolerate the furminator.

Question:	Is this model effective to remove occasional mats on a persian mix? doens't have the super long fur as a purebred..maybe 2 inches? very soft tho
Answer:	I do not recommend this to remove Mats as it gets clogged easily and it is a VERY Close shave on the skin. It will be completely bald. I noticed when I was using them on my clients dogs The blade size is equivalent to a surgical blade. These are mostly used for touch ups like pads and cleaning the eye area. If you do go through with these please be very careful as the can nick easily with too much pressure .

Answer:	It comes with #30 Trimmer Blade. Blade cannot be change. You may attach extra combs that come with it. They are small cut 3 mm and 6 mm, large cut 9 mm - 12 mm. I use this clipper for grooming face, feet, tail for my miniature poodle. This only trimmer that he doesn't mind when I groom him. It does not have loud noise.
