Question:	Are the blades very sharp (almost razor like) ? Would it work well on a sheepdog
Answer:	The blades are not real sharp, but they do help get thru tangled fur on my poodles fur. It would probably work for a sheepdog also.

Answer:	In the instructions it shows you remove a screw, switch the blades, then replace the screw to make it left handed.

Answer:	I own poodles, so given the breed this may or may not work for you. Also I am not a pro, this is free advice so take it at that value. First brush the hair (wire dog brush). Then use a wide tooth comb. When I come to a tangle I use the rake. If it is a small tangle say on the ears, I try to grab the dog hair above the mat with one hand and use the rake in the other so as not to pull on the dogs hair. If it is a large mat or close to the skin I work parts of the mat at a time. You could use is as a comb but it is not real effective unless your dog has lots of small mats.

Answer:	I prefer to use a comb with tines much closer together for the daily grooming of my cats and use this tool when mats are present.

Answer:	I have three cats. One is long haired, one is short haired, and one is VERY short haired. For the long-haired cat, this works well. My short-haired cats, it works less well, but did do a decent job at getting some mats out of the standard short haired cat. The very short haired cat, this doesn't do much for, it's more productive just to brush her.
Question:	How does this compare to a furminator
Answer:	The furminator has tines that are really close together. My dogs did not like it because it pulls their thick hair. This product has one side where the teeth are pretty far apart. Use this side first until you get a lot of the loose hair off or until your dog gets used to it. Then turn it over and use the side with the teeth closer together to finish removing the loose hair. My dogs enjoy this product, they would not tolerate the furminator.

Question:	My old cat has formed a lot of big knots in her hair that we can't get out. Will this remove them with out stressing her
Answer:	It won't last long in the elements w/o cover, paint was sparse. Following others' excellent ideas, we applied 2 coats of exterior paint, added a condensed foam piece (children's flooring) to the floor (headspace is low, so we couldn't add bulkier insulation), and Reflectix insulation to walls and ceiling of lower space. Also used sturdy waterproof tarps (used large beach towel plastic clips to hold in place) to keep rain and wind out. It was flimsy for the price (for us), so we fortified it as much as possible!

Answer:	Not thin like a compression tee shirt. Best guesstimate is the body is about 1/16” thick and a little thicker at the end seams were the gripping is. I live in Florida and an avid golfer and really like this particular band after trying several other brands. Answer:	I don't know about dogs but this is a great brush. I have long haired Maine Coon cat that gets so mafted. I love this brush and did not shave him this Spring because tool works so well. His fur is long and curly and he doesn't mind being brushed. The ends of the tines are curved and do not hurt tender flesh. I hope this helps.
Question:	how long is the comb
Answer:	No. We tried it on our cat and wound up pulling her hair out of her skin. We had to have clipped back by a groomer to get rid of the mats. The best way to treat mats is to not let them happen in the first place. That is what we are trying to do now.
