Answer:	Yes they can! I usually keep my legs in the water for a little exercise. I've had many chairs for the pool and this one by far is the best! The seat is mesh so you are in the water and staying cool.

Answer:	If you wish to use the footrest, then yes. I have 4 of these in my pool; Friends 5' tall to 6'3" tall have used them and were very comfortable. The 5' tall person's feet couldn't touch the footrest so she instead used the side bars to rest her feet. These chairs are very comfortable; the sling seat is roomy and the headrest is perfect, you aren't laying flat. They hold air for a very long time. Good product!!

Answer:	They sink. They are dive sticks. They each travel different distances through the water though (but not on top) so that they land in different spots. They basically never sink straight down.

Answer:	The table that came with our set seems fine we have ours on a wood pool deck I would be sure on just the ground it may be some what on even and be wobbly If you write to the seller you should get a response if you don't write or chat with an Amazon agent and they will help you out . I have had very good luck with help from them and I find most sellers bend over backwards to resolve an issue.
