Answer:	I've not used the 7700, so I'm not familiar with it. The dremel rotates horizontally. I have big dogs, so I usually trim their nails after a walk to burn off some energy first. They lay on their side w/me kneeling next to them to trim their nails. With my biggest dog (German Shepherd), I trim the nails on the feet on the paws she's laying on, then have her lay on her other side to do the same thing on the other 2 paws. The dremel has been a life safer. It's so much less stressful than a trip to the vet.

Answer:	I think this is better than the pedipaws where you constantly have to buy refills. My dog has thick nails and it works pretty good.
Question:	How do you know how much to grind off
Answer:	Some dog nails are translucent so you can see where the soft inner part stops, don't grind into that part. If their nails are totally opaque it's more complicated, but if you look at the underside of a dog toenail you should see the cuppy hollow part that dirt gets trapped in, my rule of thumb is that all of that hollow part is safe to grind off. Stop and check it out if they flinch though, no need to take risks.

Answer:	Actually after the first time I used it. On my Springer spaniel it lost its charge and will not hold a charge or work at all. Would not recommend this
