Answer:	Hi - I would think so as Samoyed have the layers of fur. The needles on this brush are very long. Longer than any other brush I could find. This helps tremendously when I am brushing out my dog. I have a 100+ goldendoodle and his fur is more like hair. This brush is the best I could find to help me in brushing him out every night.

You will have a lot of hair in between each bristle and it won't do a great job of removing loose hair. I use this on my short haired chihuahua whenever she wants a little TLC massage on her skin. But it doesn't remove any hair.

Using Method:
