Question: how does everyone feel about this brand of dog food? I havent seen any recent feedback I need feedback from 2014 Thanks
Answer: We have been feeding our 9 year old, 80+ lb yellow lab this food for over a year now. She is really sensitive to wheat and corn so we love that this food not only doesn't have that, but includes things that really benefit larger breeds. She digests it well and gobbles it up happily. Her weight is great (which was always an issue with other foods) and I like that it's made here in the US. We also love that it is affordable compared to so many of the grain-free foods out there I'd prefer to feed her. I feel like it's certainly the 'next best thing' because we can actually afford to buy it all of the time. We switch back and forth between the Large breed Lamb and Rice and the Large Breed Chicken and Rice simply because I think a varied diet is beneficial.

Once I switched to the Iams, their skin and coats cleared up in a matter of weeks. A few months ago, I noticed that have started chewing themselves again and I haven't changed anything in their routines(flea meds, food, environment). When I saw that the food had different colors, I wondered if they had changed the formula and that the new dye may be the issue.

Answer: My dog is a Boston she does not not like large bites so what I got her small size. even my cat want this dog food there something about it that he likes over his cat food. But friend has a pit bull he eats large bites. My Boston is a large one she is 30lbs. I would get the small bites.

Answer: I’ve fed my Labrador Retrievers this formula for the last 20 years. This brand is formulated to be age and size specific and has had a direct positive effect on the lifespan of my pets. I’ve had 2 females that lived to be 16 & 17 years respectively, and 2 males who lived well into their 15th year. I’ve been told by 3 different vets that the percentage of protein and fats is optimal fir large dogs. Too much or too little of either will lead to problems when your dog gets older.
Question: Did recipe and size recently change? Most recent bag received is labeled adult but in puppy kibble size and it made our dog sick...all over the house
