Answer:	No, never double up on flea prevention without checking with your vet. I almost killed my cat with adding a flea collar after a flea dip. The same goes for dogs. That was a very long time ago, though. Luckily she pulled through.
Question:	I thought I was ordering Advantage II but by mistake, ordered Advantix II. What is the difference, and does it work the same
Answer:	Advantage has formulations approved for both dogs and cats, while the product Advantix is intended for use in dogs only. Advantix causes permethrin toxicity in cats. Permethrin is one of the main ingredients in Advantix which dogs can process easily but cats are not equipped to process it and it will cause serious damage even death to cats. Wait 48 if using advantix to have your dog around a cat. If you have cats in your home please do not use Advantix and use Advantage instead.
Question:	What about cats? I used to use Advantix on my cats with no problems, as suggested by my vet to save money. Has the formula changed

Answer:	I have a Westie that weighs 21lbs. At 20 lbs, I used the smaller dose. At 21 lbs, I'm using the large dose. However, I spread the application out to 5+ weeks.

Answer:	Yes, there should be no issue when using on a sight hound. I use this on my Brittney with no issues. Be advised this does not " repel" ticks. Ticks will still get onto your dog and can/will bite however, the tick will be impaired/ killed over a few hours time after biting. When used with a organic spray for Ticks you should have no issues. I have never had a flea on my dog nor my 2 cats. I recommend this product fully. Be sure to match your dog's weight with the correct Advantix.
Question:	What is the expiration date on this $41 product currently for sale
Answer:	The expiration date is usually stamped into the package. And $41 is very good price for k9 Advantix II. It's often quite more expensive from your vet or other sites.
Question:	I am thinking about ordering a 6 pack which some would be kept for next year. How do I know what the date is on the product
Answer:	I looked everywhere on the individual package of the tubes and the box, there is nothing that mentions an expiration or use by date. There are phone numbers to call for questions...1-800-255-6826. Looking at how the tubes are packaged, my best guess would be that as long as they are sealed properly and not opened you could probably use unopened tubes at a later time. I have 2 dogs and ordered the six pack myself, if I don't use give my girls all 3 of their doses this year I will probably use it up next summer then.

Answer:	YES!!!!. When I was new to this tick infested area I had more than 10 attached to me (slow learner). The dog also had many but since he was on tick control the ticks died. I knew that he had to have brought live ticks to my bed......I sprayed the "dirty" spread and left the product on for 24 hours. After that I sprayed myself and the dog every time we went out. NEVER since the spraying did he have any nor did I any ticks attached and there was no tick infestation in the house (I was concerned about that). The only product I used was Vet's best.

Answer:	Are you positive it's a dog and not a moose? 210 lbs?
Question:	How long should you wait to bath you're dog again after application
Answer:	The product is waterproof and you can bathe your dog immediately, however we recommend waiting 24-48 hours after application if possible.
Question:	My doberman/dane mix is 107 pounds. Should I use 2 tubes on him
Answer:	I would start with one tube and check him closely. This product kills all fleas on my small dogs within 24 hours. If he still has fleas after 24 hours then use a second tube. This product is very safe. I have 7 small dogs. To save $, I buy the large dog package. It's 4x more for same price. I empty it into a urine specimen cup and apply .44ml/5lbs. I use .5ml for my 7lb Chihuahuas, 1ml for my 10 lb Poodles and 1.5ml for my 15 lb. Shih Tzu. These doses are approximate; some are slightly over and some are slightly under-dosed. However, all fleas are gone from the dogs in 24 hours and there have been NO REACTIONS!!
Question:	I noticed that each ingredient is at least 10% less than k9 advantix ii...is this going to make a big difference in how effective it is
Answer:	The milligram dosage of active ingredients are actually the EXACT same as in K9 Advantix II. The active ingredients are dissolved in more liquid which makes the product easier to apply, and causes the % to be different. Lab tests confirm that there is no difference in dosage (milligrams of active ingredients) between K9 Advantix II and this product, they are the exactly the same.

Treat Monthly

Even one missed dose of your monthly flea and tick control can set the stage for a flea infestation that takes months to resolve, or put your pet at greater risk of exposure to a tick borne disease.

Limit Access

Wildlife, including opossums, coyotes, raccoons, and skunks, and even untreated cats and dogs can deposit flea eggs into a yard. It may be possible to reduce flea infestations by limiting the access these animals have around your house and yard.

Be Tidy

Regularly wash pet bedding and vacuum carpets paying particular attention to areas your pet frequents.

Treating a Flea Infestation

Once an infestation has occurred full treatment must occur to fully extinguish.

Treat the Pet

Shampoos, sprays, dips or powders provide immediate relief. Wait a week and then use a preventative product such as a topical to prevent reinfestation.

Treat the Home

Use household sprays, carpet powders or foggers to kill fleas that are nesting in your home. Flea eggs fall off into the carpet and bedding to hatch. Treat these areas with carpet powder and household sprays. Fleas can stay dormant for up to 6 months before hatching.

Treat the Yard

Prevent fleas and ticks from jumping onto their pet while out in the yard, spray your yard with yard and premise F&T spray concentrate and treat around the foundation to kill any flea populations that may be in your yard.
