14 best natural chemistry flea spray
Natural chemistry flea spray is a product designed to control and repel fleas and ticks on dogs. It falls under the category of pet supplies and is commonly used for canine flea and tick control. Here's what you should know about natural chemistry flea spray:
Ingredients: Natural chemistry flea sprays typically contain natural ingredients that are safe for dogs and the environment. Common ingredients may include essential oils like peppermint oil, clove oil, cedar oil, and lemongrass oil. These ingredients are known for their natural pest-repelling properties.
Non-Toxic: One of the key advantages of natural chemistry flea sprays is that they are formulated to be non-toxic to pets, humans, and the environment. This makes them a popular choice for pet owners who want to avoid harsh chemicals.
Kills and Repels: Natural chemistry flea sprays often serve a dual purpose. They not only kill existing fleas and ticks on the dog but also provide a protective barrier to prevent reinfestation. This can be particularly helpful in areas with a high prevalence of fleas and ticks.
Easy Application: These sprays are easy to apply.Pet owners can typically spray the product directly onto their dog's coat, making sure to avoid the eyes, nose, and mouth. Some sprays can also be used on the dog's bedding or living areas.
Prevention: In addition to treating infestations, natural chemistry flea sprays are often used as a preventative measure. Regular application can help keep fleas and ticks at bay, especially in areas where these parasites are common.
No Harsh Chemicals: These sprays are free from harsh chemicals such as pyrethroids or synthetic pesticides. This is especially appealing to pet owners who are concerned about the potential side effects of traditional flea and tick control products.
Safe for Puppies: Some natural chemistry flea sprays are safe for use on puppies, but it's essential to check the product label for age recommendations and consult with a veterinarian if you have a very young puppy.
Effectiveness: The effectiveness of natural chemistry flea sprays can vary depending on the specific product and the severity of the infestation. While they may not be as potent as some chemical alternatives, they are a safer and more environmentally friendly option.
Regular Use: To maintain effective flea and tick control, regular use of natural chemistry flea spray may be required, especially during peak flea and tick seasons.
It's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions when using natural chemistry flea spray, and always monitor your dog for any adverse reactions. If your dog has a severe infestation or a known sensitivity to certain ingredients, consulting with a veterinarian is advisable for the most appropriate flea and tick control strategy.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it still eppective after going in water |
Answer: | If you have an active pet that spends a lot of time outside of your home's wifi range AND the AT&T coverage in your area is spotty --- the battery will not last more than 2 days; and on the days when your pet roams around farther away from the house for a few hours -- the battery might acctually die in just under 12 hours. I have a cat that is an outdoor cat for 12 hours a day. I'm having to charge the Whistle every night, and even then there are days when the battery dies before the end of the day. But the main issue to me is that the "locate" feature almost never works while the cat is outside of the safe zone area. I live in a urban residential area without any tall buildings, etc. I'm talking to the Whistle's customer support, and if AT&T isn't able to fix the issue with their coverage in our area-- I will definitely have to return the unit and look for an alternative. Not reliable the way it is right now., unfortunately (great potential, though). |
Question: | My dog's hair turned yellow, what do I do |
Answer: | Whistle and Link are on 3G, Fi is on LTE M (next generation). I used to have Whistle and changed for the Fi. Battery life has been night and day between the two, I’ve had Fi for almost a month now and I’m still at only 70% battery life and I’ve never charged it before. Escape alerts have also been so much better, I think because Whistle only uses wifi to detect escapes which does not work for my property. I did not try the Link AKC. |
Question: | rabbits |
Answer: | I have a farm in a remote area. I tried another tracker that would not track at all. There really aren't any other trackers with Whistle's capabilities. I was very, very, pessimistic when I got the unit. I had a 1 1/2 drive to reach the farm and though I would try to track the unit in my car as I drove there through what is normally sketvhy cellphone coverage. I do not have ATT, I have Sprint. It tracked the entire way and gave my updated every couple of minutes. Having a dog that has strayed from the farm by 10 miles I hated to tie him up all the time. As soon as I reached the farm I gave it a try. I was amazed, I could see on google maps where he was with constant updates. I have to admit I enjoyed knowing where he frequented and knowing that if I forgot to check on him, like I did in the past, it didn't matter, all I had to do was look at the app. My understanding is that being a satellite it will track anywhere in the US with Cell, wifi, or GPS, switching to whichever works best. The travel to the farm was cell and GPS, the farm was all three. For someone whose dogs has run away 5 times, because he is afraid of loud noises, and I have been lucky to have people that found him and called the phone number on his collar, I am very, very satisfied. |
Question: | Is this product to use every 7 days, or every day. Thank you |
Answer: | Yes, provided you have cell reception. We have had Whistle devices for years and very happy with them. One of our dogs escaped from leash last week and we were able to track her to middle of woods about a mile away. It had been about 4 days since we charged battery in her Whistle, and in the one hour it took to find her with constant tracking updates the battery went from 32% charged to 31% charged. WiFi is only used to setup home. Tracking away from home is all by cellular. |

Question: | Why does it encourage the use on cats when clearly states for dogs only |
Answer: | No if u give a bath or dog gets wet u need to re apply |
Question: | Where is the expiration date for this product |
Answer: | My dog has plenty of white hair, and it did not turn yellow. I would suggest you check with your groomer. I will tell you that I give my German Shepherd coconut oil on every bowl of food. Her coat is super soft and shiny for a GS. If your pup's hair is dried out, that may be why it stained. I'm not sure what else to tell you, hope this helps...... |
Question: | re:spray.: I'd like to use the spray for my cats bedding, rugs etc. I read product is greasy would the sprayed areas stay greasy once they dried |
Answer: | Not sure I would asked a veterinarian because it smells like has cinnamon in it and I don't know about rabbits skin |
Question: | My dog got poisioned using this product. He is a 17 lbs shichon. How long will the toxins take to leave his body as we have been using the spray |
Answer: | From label: fully effective up to 7 days. Also on label: spray and work into the coat, and pet bedding. Repeat as necessary. From me: if you need to spray your pet every day, you have an environmental problem and need to spray the house and yard with an appropriate product first. Be advised that white or light colored animals will get a yellowish stain on their coat from this product. Works great, though! |

Question: | What is the dilution ratio for this product? how much water do i add to make a gallon of product to spray? i want to mix it myself. thank you |
Answer: | I would not recommend this product at all. It smells terrible and leaves an oily residue on everything. Not only that, but it's supposed to be natural and it's full of pesticides. There was a peel off label on the bottle I bought and under that label I found out that it's not safe for use on kittens and it has a lot of chemicals in it. |
Question: | The picture in the description doesn't look like a 32oz bottle, what size is being sold |
Answer: | If you can't get to the vet, I would rinse and dry the dog as much as possible and give him some activated charcoal if you have it handy. I've got it in capsule form and would probably give him 2. Maybe 2 more in 6 hours or so. It will help absorb the toxin and expel it.What have you done and what are his symptoms? |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I use it on turtles |
Answer: | It doesn’t say that it kills eggs. My experience was very positive. I cleaned the snakes with the spray. Cleaned housing with spray waited and rinsed it all out. I sprayed all surrounding carpet with the spray. I had no recurrence. You may have to do a second spraying a week later if eggs hatch. |
Question: | How soon after applying this to my snake can I reapply again for a second treatment |
Answer: | It worked for a little bit but didn't seem to help long term. I wound up buying and using "Provent-a-mite" from Pro-products. It's more expensive but it works very well, took care of my mite issue once and for all. |
Question: | Can i use this on my household furniture? i have dragons and tort and i don't want to use chemicals. i keep getting bit by something |
Answer: | Within minutes. Rub the snake down with this, make sure to get the stretchy skin under the mouth, and i use a q-tip around the eyes, make sure it makes contact with the mites, give it a minute or two and i rinse the snake off, I do not like the dried residue feeling. This will also kill fleas within minutes too, do not use on birds, pet bugs, or amphibians. |
Question: | Does this work on grain mites in feeder insect containers? (e.g., mealworms and superworms)? Will it harm the feeder insects |
Answer: | Yes, you can spay this directly on your snake/reptiles as that is it's intended use; after spraying reptile use a clean cloth to wipe reptile and blot up excess liquid. Carefully avoid spraying eyes & facial area. For facial areas, I sparingly spray a cotton q-tip 1st and then carefully apply the liquid to the facial area using the q-tip, avoiding the eye area. You can actually see the mites falling off as you use clean cloth & Q-Tip. NOTE: Do not use this spray if your reptile has shedded it's skin within the the last 6-12 hours (I recommend waiting a full day after shedding skin before applying mite spray). You can reapply but must wait at least 3 days in between applications. I've found it works best when used in combination with Nature Zone Reptile Mite Guard Powder (powder is mixed into terrarium's substrate), as the powder will kill the mites that jump off the reptile and land in substrate. Have successfully utilized the aforementioned procedure numerous times, after mite/parasite infestations had been discovered. Any new reptile gets this treatment prior to being allowed/placed into my terrariums. IMO an excellent product |

User questions & answers
Question: | How many fluid oz. on this bottle |
Answer: | I have a CWD, not much exp with turtles. I spray some on a cloth and wipe him with it, he seems to be fine with it. I would imagine that it would be fine to use with turtle. |
Question: | I am a new owner n the questions is since my parakeets are still getting to know me....can i spray him from afar if mites are suspected |
Answer: | I would do it every other day if you have a really bad infestation for up to a month. However, I have used this stuff for YEARS now. After i wipe the snake down with it and let it dry on the snake, i give the snake a bath and rinse away all the dead mites. I put the snake in a tub w/paper towels and empty out their enclosure of anything the mites can hide in, treat those, and the enclosure. I spray the enclosure down with the deflea, i check the snake the next day to see if i can see any dead or smeared mites on the paper towels. For me, im rather thorough, so I usually get everything done in one day, but i keep a close eye on things for like a month to make sure they dont come back. Once im satisfied snake is free and clear, it may go back to its normal enclosure, but i do preventative sprays for about a month weekly for the enclosure. Good Luck! BTW, mites should die almost instantly with this stuff. |
