It looks like it is part of a system where a tube would fit over the handle end and there are spring clips that would poke through holes in the tube to lock the tube in place. I didn't measure the diameter of the handle to know the inner diameter of the tube. I also don't see an obvious system of compatible parts when looking around Amazon. I only bought this to use for a hot tub, so didn't need an extension handle.

Answer:	I would say NO. I have had mine for over a year and it is in very good condition. The orange band has never fallen off nor become loose. Contact the company and they most likely will send you a new one.

Answer:	Yes, wash by had, i melted the last one in the dishwasher. Kind of large to go on the road, lid at very top is somewhat secure, made to be stationary.

Question:	will this ever rust with standing water in it
Answer:	I just tried to do an internet search on this for the gauge, to no avail. It is described as "heavy duty" and as I own three of them, I would certainly concur with that. I have had them for over three and a half years and they look absolutely new! These work beautifully for a cat because they allow plenty of "whisker room". My cat took to them instantly and I think Durapet was successful at creating a dish that cats are comfortable eating from. I doubt that you would regret buying these.
Question:	could you use these as plates for camping
Answer:	I no longer use that type of filter because I have a different fountain. But the white side faces the front as you look straight on. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have a pawslife water fountain for my dog, and these filter fit it great, with no issues.

Answer:	It depends on how many animals are using it, how much gunk they may add to the water, and how much dust and dirt gets in the water. I change the water in the fountain weekly and check the filter then. When it looks dirty I change it. I probably average changing the filter every 3 weeks - more in summer and less in winter.

Answer:	Forget all these other answers. Get some good orange cleaner/degreaser (I use U-Line). Spray just enough to cover the bottom of the bowl and let soak for an hour. Use a plastic scraper or edge to lift the sticker. If there's a little glue left or not, use dish detergent and a brillo type scrubber and give it a good cleaning. I have many similar bowls that had the same stupid sticker problem. The last few I have done were easy and now I don't sweat when I see something with a sticker on it.

Answer:	Unless you want a 6 oz bowl, do not order this item.The descriptions all say "8 oz", from different vendors.When you receive the item, the sticker on it states .75 cup, that's 6 oz, not 8.I now have three of them, all too small for my purpose.4.25 inches across the inside, for the .75 cup size. I have an 8 oz bowl already, from years ago, it measures 5 inches across.Hope this helps you.

Answer:	I ordered the large because several customers said it ran small, but our little 12 Lbs rat terreier could have done well with a medium she has a lot of room in the large size. I also have 3 grown cats. I have 2 soft carriers and 2 hard ones so I can take everyone to vets at same time for shots. I would say if your not sure better a little large than to small.

Answer:	According to the product description for this pump, shown on the Amazon website, it is compatible with your Generac washer. It puts out 3000 psi rather than 2300, so be sure your fittings and hoses are rated at least 3000 psi. It is a very easy swap out. Remove the allen head bolts, and slide the old pump off. Make sure you keep the key way on the engine spline. Slide the new pump on and align the holes. Install the allen bolts and you are done. Took me less than 10 minutes to replace the pump. My old washer now works like a brand new one.

Question:	does this come with both the feeder and waterer
Answer:	No it doesn't limit their intake It will keep bowl filled as long as there is food in the reservoir
Question:	The title says it holds 3 gallons but description says it only holds 1? How much water does it actually hold
Answer:	Not really, gravity + your pet move the food into the bowl. I would say the bowl is equivalent to about a cup of food which goes quickly around here. If gravity + you pet happen to cause too much food out before your pet can eat then I can see the food getting stale. It's a pretty good system as far as price goes but there's nothing preventing your pet from dispensing food regularly.
Question:	Will a standard 2 1/2 gallon water jug fit on this if/when the included jug needs replacing
Answer:	I remembered it to be 1.5 gallon of water. This is the good size for me, I filled up a little over half for the container, and it lasted for 2 weeks. But this is not recommended, as the water gets dirty for that kind of length of time.

Answer:	it comes with both dog food feeder and water feeder.the dog food feeder is a little wonky. It never seems to sit properly on the dog base but other then that its been a good set for the price.
