Generally the smaller dogs require a lower shock value but then some small dogs are resistant to control and can need a real jolt to get them to listen. My experience with the 5 dogs I've trained to an e-fence is they respond well to a good shock one time and then never challenge the fence again.

Answer:	No I have a 120 pound pit who can eat anything and he can’t get out it’s great I just ordered a 36 inch for my frenchie the bars are thick steel not like a typical wire cage and it has two locks we did put plywood on top of the big one to make a shelf for his belongings maybe that’s why he hasn’t gotten out the top but the top is heavy and he slept there two weeks before we put the shelf no issues I just wish it shipped faster

Answer:	It's ideal for my 65 lb. rangey mutt, taller and longer than most boxers. He has enough height and enough room to lie down and to turn around. Something to consider is the size and weight for storage. This folded 36" crate is pretty heavy and unwieldy at about 25 lbs. with a soft mat included. Also, any dog has to be trained to be comfortable in a crate (see http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/dogs/tips/crate_training.html ).
Question:	do this crate come with a divider
Answer:	I have large male cardigan corgis, who are the same proportion as a full sized standard dachsund (because cardigans were bred from dachsunds), yet the corgis are much bigger in body and head. They fit quite happily in the medium 30" long crate. There are charts on the internet with recommendations plus ways to measure your pup. Basically, you want them to be able to lay down flat and comfortably with room to spare above their head (this does not count the "sploot" position as corgi owners call it, where their back legs protrude straight out behind them in back, thus extending their overall length about 10". Has to be a normal laying position with head up). That's a medium sized crate for most. It's nice to have extra headroom for when they are standing, but I'm pretty sure a dachsund can stand up. You could go larger with the 36" and accommodate the sploot and as others have said, give him room to turn around, but the corgis do fine with the 30-31" length.
Question:	Can this cage be good for a teacup mixed
Answer:	No, it has not. I received the 36x23x25 intermediate crate today (2/22/2019) and the edges are definitely sharp. In the past two years, I have ordered two of the higher end MidWest Ultima Pro crates and neither had sharp edges. I wish that I purchased another Pro but I needed something lighter, cheaper for a growing puppy. I think the Midwest Pro is the way to go-thicker, sturdier, no sharp metal.

Question:	I have a 140lb cane corso, will an xxl be big enough
Answer:	I believe the L shaped metal pieces are to secure it to the ground, if you use it outside. There are 4 little loops on the bottom of the kennel that you put the L shaped metal pieces through, into the ground.And I "think" the long strap on top, is to tie your dog to, if you want to let them out and still keep them attached to the kennel; outside, etc. That part is purely a guess on my part though; I have not tried to use it for this purpose at all.I love how easily these fold up for travel, that's the main reason for me purchasing two of these - for my two little dogs.Hope this helps.
Question:	Kennel size before assembly
Answer:	This is a very nice lightweight crate - not for a very young dog or a dog that is not use to be crated. However, it is very portable and very sturdy for it's weight. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a top that opens up.
Question:	Does the back side have any ventilation slits/holes or a small window like the sides? tia
Answer:	I think 2-10lb cats would fit. It might be cozy but I think it would work. If they are scratchers, the mesh door is pretty destructible. Something to consider.
Question:	When will your XXL be available again
Answer:	This crate includes metal rods to form a frame. The 3 rods at the top wind up poking through the nylon and can come out several inches. Be very careful because these are sharp and can injure you easily. Serious design flaw.
