Answer:	I just measured the inside of mine and it's 22" long (max), 13 1/2 h and 13" wide - a tight fit for your kitty. I would agree with several of your other responders -ok for short distances, though would avoid for longer distances. You want your best friends to be more than comfortable. (mine inside measures 22"l x 13.5"w and 13"h. Personally, I would opt to the next size up.
Question:	my cat is about 14 lbs and difficult to handle - is this pet mate two door top load an easy loading carrier
Answer:	I have a 12.7 lb cat that went in so easy from the top. I put it in the car first.(back seat) I propped the top door open against the seat and he went right in. At the Vets office I had to wait in the exam room for a bit and opened the top,while sitting next to my chair, and he popped his head out the top and I just pet him while we were waiting. He's usually afraid, but I think because the top was open he felt better. My Vet even commented on how nice it was and even asked about where I had gotten it. I love this carrier!

Answer:	These crates are not approved for use with any airline in the United States. Not Carried on or checked below, because of the top opening. Not because the crate is defective. They just don’t like that design for the airlines.

Answer:	Based on our experience, the answer probably is "it depends." For what it's worth, here are some notes on our experience.1/ We needed to fly from Seattle to Oslo with a 90 pound German Shepherd. 2/ Regulatory requirements re: crates are quite vague, and airlines implement the objectives ("comfortable," "safe," etc.) differently. But all of the constraints were based on height and length; we did not find an airline with a weight constraint. As for the height constraint, some airlines measure to the top of the ears sitting, while some measure to the top of the "head" (no clarification) standing. One airline measured length from tip-of-nose to tip-of-tail! At least for us, the airline (Iceland Air) could not accept this large crate at the airport. So we had to work with a freight company. At that point, you're subject to multiple entities' potentially different criteria (airline, freight co., FAA, IATA, and the USDA-equivalent in any country where you change planes). We decided to get something that would satisfy the strictest requirement. Ultimately, we found that the largest crate was the only way to make sure that our dog didn't get stranded en-route.3/ That said, the series 7 crate created some logistical issues. British Airways told us they could not accept the crate (regardless of the size fo the dog). American told us the same thing. United, Iceland Air, and SAS all provided quotes. Turns out that this crate would not fit on either a 737 or an A320! United only flies 737s into Oslo, but the freight rep was apparently unaware of the constraint. I can't imagine how screwed we would have been if we'd arrived at Heathrow planning to fly to Oslo on United. Anyway, if you do get the series 7 crate, make sure your entire journey is on sufficiently large aircraft. For us, that meant flying Iceland Air. They exclusively fly 757s, so we knew we'd be OK. Anyway, I hope some of this helps. This crate worked well for us, but it created additional administrative complexities for which some of the airline reps were unprepared. Good luck!!

Answer:	The thick velcro corners are pretty sharp. I rounded the corners out carefully with scissors but it can be a hazard with shorter coat pets.

Answer:	My 55 lb lab fits with room to spare. That being said she may be shorter than your dog. She is 19 inches tall and the crate is 26 inches high, by my measurements.

Also there are two seatbelt straps to keep it safely in place within your vehicle when you’re on the go. You will need to measure the length of your seat to know if two will fit securely. Question:	Can you use it for multiple dogs
Answer:	Yes, I kennel an 80# dog along with my 20# dog when I am gone from the house. There is plenty of room for them.

Answer:	Not at all! Comes with metal clip things that you put one on each side so fit together and bolt together, which is easy to do most by hand then go back thru when configured as you want it and tighten them all with a wrench. I configured mine so cats could go in/out a window to get some outside play time and it would be easy to expand if needed as well..
Question:	can I buy extra door panels
Answer:	Although they say that you can in the material sent with the unit, YOU CAN NOT BUY SEPARATE PANELS! If you are looking for something along these lines, suggest looking at different brand. This is only sold as complete units, if you want more panels, you must buy another unit, you can connect them together or just use panels from the other unit. Too expensive for me to buy two units just to obtain 2 more panels
Question:	My 100lb dog has separation anxiety and has broken the welds on a traditional wire kennel. Will this hold up to an aggressive escape attempt? Thanks
Answer:	I have a large Weimaraner and a small chocolate lab and haven't had any issues. They don't really try to escape though. I'm not sure what type of wire kennel you used before but the sections are bolted with metal connectors and for me it was worth every penny.

Answer:	A full grown Corgi should be able to fit our size Small perfectly. Unfortunately, we don't offer anything that will fit a Corgi pup at the moment, but keep an eye out for more sizing options!

Answer:	The medium size should fit your pit well. :)
Question:	Where there additional shipping fees charged for Prime
Answer:	I hope that by "including the buckle" you aren't adding in the length of the prongs, as those go right into the other side of the buckle. It would make no sense to include that in the measurement. Instead, how about just saying whether the measurement should be the circumference of a standard collar on the dog (allowing for 2 fingers to fit within), or that the measurement is the length of a strap wrapped close to the dog's neck. With my dog, her standard collar circumference is 17 inches. Her strap-to-the-neck measurement is about 16 inches. If I measured her collar, including the length of the prongs, then we're talking a little over 18 inches.

Question:	Would the 36 inch crate be large enough for a boxer
Answer:	It's ideal for my 65 lb. rangey mutt, taller and longer than most boxers. He has enough height and enough room to lie down and to turn around. Something to consider is the size and weight for storage. This folded 36" crate is pretty heavy and unwieldy at about 25 lbs. with a soft mat included. Also, any dog has to be trained to be comfortable in a crate (see http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/dogs/tips/crate_training.html ).
Question:	What size would be big enough for a regular dachshund
Answer:	I have a standard full sized dachshund, and because his back is so long; he needs room to turn around. I have a a 36 x 23x 24 crate which is perfect for him. He can go in head first and still have enough to turn himself around to come out.
Question:	has the problem of sharp edges in the crate been corrected
Answer:	No, it has not. I received the 36x23x25 intermediate crate today (2/22/2019) and the edges are definitely sharp. In the past two years, I have ordered two of the higher end MidWest Ultima Pro crates and neither had sharp edges. I wish that I purchased another Pro but I needed something lighter, cheaper for a growing puppy. I think the Midwest Pro is the way to go-thicker, sturdier, no sharp metal.

Make him stay in the home for a few minutes and then gradually increase the time. Be sure to praise him!

Once he is comfortable with this, (probably a few hours or days of short training sessions) simply restrain him at the door - again praising him lavishly. Soon he will be secure in his home with the door closed. Slowly you can get further and further away from him, always praising his accepting behavior. Eventually, the pup will sit quietly and sleep in his home with the door closed.

ABCs of Crate Training

Understand that little puppies need to "go" about every 2-4 hours. On a schedule, (such as after feeding, before bedtime, first thing in the morning) let your puppy out, teach him the route to the door, praise him at the door and take him out to the part of the yard you want him to use. Very quickly, you are teaching him an elimination schedule that will stay with him for the rest of his life.
