I like that it can display the battery life of the two units on the remote control. So far, a single charge of the remote control and the collar has lasted more than two weeks. My dog responds well to the beeping sound, even only tied to the collar, so I can't see the electric shock function is needed.

Answer:	No it is not that sensitve. I like it because it does not give the dog a shock it just makes a little shrill sound and then vibrates a little. It can be set wherever you need it but low seens to to help our dog to remember not to bark.
