Answer:	the proper way to jog with this is to life the front wheel. you can jog fine with it but your girlfriends might not grasp the benifits of your child riding on 2 wheels instead of 3(less bumpy) ive gone off road, ran with this. leave the tires around 30-40psi for a soft ride. on bike trips parents Seriously need to watch the dips. especailly with babies.

Answer:	no sure but probably. the bracket is really for a quick release rear wheel. go to a used bike store and see if you can get a 26" hybrid or better yet a 700c size wheel and some gears.

Answer:	I believe so, if you stay within the intended weight limit. I have a thirteen pound Yorkie who loves to ride in it. He is at the limit on weight. When I first installed it, the basket would tend rotate on the handlebar. When it did this the bottom would rub on the front tire. I had to really tighten it down hard to avoid this. Otherwise, no issues at all.

Answer:	It was specifically designed to go on the front handlebars and it uses the front head tube to brace the basket support hardware. It would not fit anywhere else as designed.

Answer:	Hi Christine. My little dog weighs between 10 and 12 pounds depending on the season & exercise we get. I wanted to attach pix of her in it but can't figure out how yet. Carol answered the dimensions. I have not used the shade but it's so cute. Very we'll made and best I've seen. It's held up well.

Answer:	Assuming your not actually bouncing along the cliffs of mountains, the Snoozer Sporty Bike Basket may be a better fit. I use it on my mountain Bike and it holds dog up to 15 lbs, and easy goes on and off to be used as a carrier, or for times when your not biking with dog. Also, a little wider which may be comfortable with Dachshund. While secure, it can wobble a little during sharp turns and bumps which is why I made comment about not riding on rough mountain terrain. It is also not padded, so may want to add a folded up towel, or pillow for added comfort. Has a removable rain hood.

Question:	What is the carrying capacity? What was the heaviest load you carried
Answer:	Hi Schnauzer Mom, Thank you so much for your inquiry! We’ve seen lots of customers get creative with this (attaching to moped, 4-wheeler, scooter etc.) because CrateMate could ultimately fit on any type of provided rack. Assuming the mobility scooter does have a luggage rack either currently on the front or back this will provide the safest way to attach your specified crate to said scooter. If not, maybe see if said scooter has available accessories/rack for the specified model. From what I can gather through my research is that a lot of these types of scooters already have baskets attached to them. In this case, it’s important to note that unless the attached basket(s) measures 12x12x12 or 12x12x18 it won’t fit into the existing basket. CrateMate is specifically designed to retro-fit either a 16qt or 24qt standard milk crate. If you can see a way on your specified model of scooter to safely attach one of these sized crates (luggage rack etc.) then yes you can certainly use this product with your Schnauzer. Question:	How to install
Answer:	Hi there! Any front bike rack that can support your pets weight as well as and most importantly one to fit to your specified bike in question. Be sure to check the load capacity for your rack in question. I will add, if you attach your specified crate to the front rack it would need to be the 16qt (square) crate as the 24qt will extend too far off the front end. Please be extra careful riding with your furriend in front as even the slightest shift in weight can cause and unstable and unsafe riding experience for both you and your pet. We do recommend a rear riding experience for your pet as they will be more comfortable know where you are and it will ultimately be easier for you to ride. If you do choose to attach your crate to a front rack and install the CrateMate conversion we would love to see it!
Question:	Which dimension is which? I see that 7.5" is the width of each basket, but is 18" the depth or height dimension
Answer:	I’m sorry but we don’t have this anymore but we don’t see why not since it connects to the rear hub.
