Answer:	No. I had to hold the watch right up to my ear before I could hear it tick. I also placed it on various surfaces that could act as a sounding board - metal, ceramic, and wood - and none of them amplified any sound. I would describe the watch as silent.

Answer:	Not very long...not sure if I got something different, but I have small wrists and only have 3 holes to go larger. This is more like a watch designed for a woman or child, it is smaller than average. The side of the band with the clasp is 3", the side with the holes is just over 4". Overall length including the face (not just the band) is just under 9".

Answer:	To a degree, yes. I put my hand in water with it on, and it still works. I do believe it is waterproof up to 20 feet of water.

Answer:	The lug width is 18mm -- if you get a two-piece nylon watch strap e.g. not a NATO strap it will last longer than the stock rubber strap.

Answer:	I think a previous commenter may be on to something. I've worn this model for decades, and generally each watch has lasted at least half a dozen years. I've worn them swimming in the pool and in the ocean, and diving down to 20 m. Once or twice before, a watch I'd had for many years got some water inside after a prolonged period in the water. My latest F91-W got water inside and portions of the display failed the first time I had it submerged (an hour and a half in a hot tub, underwater more about half the time). So maybe Casio changed something about the materials or manufacturing process that makes it more susceptible to water. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for exposure like kayaking, pouring rain, taking a swim, etc. In any case it's an incredible watch -- super light, very long battery life, useful functions, unobtrusive and unpretentious -- and a new one is just a day or two and a dozen dollars away if you choose to use it in submersion settings and it fails. (I wouldn't press the buttons while it's submerged, though: that's asking for trouble.)

Answer:	Even the counterfeit versions of this are almost $10. Department stores sell Crappy Chinese quartz watches made of pot metal, with designers logos on them, for $200+. Go complain there instead.

It has withstood rain, ice, snow, sand, and a high pressure car wash. Still going strong. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Answer:	18mm distance between lugs. Any band except some very thick ones,like rubbery dive bands,should fit. There's not a lot of space between the body & the spring bars. If you would like to use a NATO type strap,get a thin one. Standard spring bars,that come with the watch,are 1.8mm thick. Getting a pair that's 1.6mm thick will make using a NATO strap easier,you can find these easily on Amazon

Answer:	Yes, it is absolutely vegan. So much so that when I tried to feed it anything I ate, it refused to eat at all and nearly starved to death. I relented and am now feeding it its preferred snotty diet, so it works perfectly. But here's the problem: feeding this thing its vegan diet costs me more per month than the watch did in the first place. Even so, it is friendly, conversational, and absolutely loyal, which is more than I can say for any of my family members or friends. It never steals the covers in bed, puts on its own seatbelt in the car, and generously gave me a cement mixer for my last birthday. I couldn't ask for more.

Answer:	I don't see an answer here that helps me. The key measurement is circumference, not diameter. Wrists are oval, not round. My wrist is 8-3/8" circumference, so I would need a strap that is at least 9-3/8" to have enough strap to tuck into the retainer to hold the end of the strap from sticking out of the buckle. That would be 9-3/8" from the inside edge of the outside part of the buckle to the other end of the strap.

Question:	How is this watch powered
Answer:	The skiing feature is NOT working well. I have used it many times and was getting various false readings including bogus altitude and impossibly high speeds. Not recommended for skiing. But happy with most of scuba related tracking except few small bugs with the mobile app and the diving related screens.
