Question:	How do you train an older stubborn dog to use the stairs
Answer:	Lots of treats! I have two dogs that use the stairs. One got it right away with treats and the other one it took a few days. Just use treats to coax and the dog will eventually use them. Hold the treat initially and then put one on a stair where they have to actually reach for it by moving up one step. Eventually you will get the dog to move further and further up. Just be patient. :)

We currently do not have any steps that are 30" tall in height. Our tallest steps (4-Step) is 22.5" in height with a length of 28". Answer:	Not sure of the type wood but it is very sturdy. I had a picture from my daughter the other day with the granddaughter sitting on the top of it and the little one is well over 30 pounds at 1 1/2 years old. We have been pleased.
Question:	There are two different answers as to how long the 4-step stair is. I need a step that is 30 tall to no more than 20 long. Prefer Mfg answer

Question:	What is the weight limit
Answer:	This does not come preassembled but the snap together assembly is simple and quick. No tools required, just a little muscle power.
Question:	I see the cover is removable and washable, but what is the best way to clean the memory foam
Answer:	I have a Lhasa and a chihuahua. The Lhasa took to it after 3 or 4 treats and encouragement. The chi will go up the stairs with guidance but jumps off the bed and avoids the stairs. I first purchased the three step because of the height of my bed but they hit their legs on the steps every time so that they avoided them. I am returning those because the steps are too narrow even for small dogs. Now I have the 2 step and those steps are 12” deep so they can get their whole body on them and they are starting to go up and down with far less reminding and encouragement. I put a bench at the foot of the bed which acts as a third step and they seem to be able to see where they are headed easier and climb up and down without slipping or hitting their legs. The three step is just too steep and too narrow on the steps, only 9” deep. The two step 12” deep step makes a huge difference for them Theses steps are solid and do not move or make noise so w think they will be using them on their own very soon.

Answer:	4 inches. Great fir small dogs. I have 2 minarure dachshund. I have it next to sofa and They use it all the time.

Answer:	On my step for up to 150, it's 15 and 1/2 inches from floor to back of the top step. On my step unit that is for less heavy animals (I can't remember the actual weight) the height at the back of the top step is 16 inches, exactly. I hope that helps. My little dog loves them both, as do I. I really don't think you can go wrong on either unit. The key is the wider step so they can get on one before the move to the next, at least that's what The Baron, my dog, tells me...by his actions, of course. :) He's seven pounds.
Question:	what steps should I buy for a 70 lb lab with a stiff leg
Answer:	My 93 pound, 9 year-old dog uses them. I posted a video. It took three times of me coaxing her to put her feet on the steps, and physically putting her front feet on the bed for her to figure it out. Now, she LOVES them!

Question:	Is it too tall for a couch
Answer:	It does not wobble. It slips a tiny bit on carpet, but is quite stable when backed up to something (bed, couch). I can stand on the far end of one step without it wobbling or tipping over.

Answer:	These would support a 70 pound animal, but if they have a stiff leg or difficulty stepping / climbing, this may not be the best fit. The steps are rigid, exactly as shown in the picture. My dog has arthritis and at times has trouble making one of the steps (height). There are similar ramps that have “scalloped” steps .. a bit softer, rounded and easier if the animal can’t take a big step up. (Just something to think about moving forward in case the pup has ongoing problems.)
Question:	I have a 3 pound morkie is this gonna be tall enough for her to jump on the bed
Answer:	My dog weighed 13lbs and wouldn’t use it because it was too shaky and not wide enough

Answer:	I've yet to need to clean it. I have an inside dog so no dirty paws. Looks as good as new after a couple of months. If I needed to clean it I would use the same product for cloth upholstery.

Answer:	Absolutely, I have a 5 pound Pomarine/Terrier and it is perfect for her to get on and off the bed. I really love these stairs

Answer:	Yes there are 3 self stick pads that come in the box. You have to put them on the steps yourself. Be sure you didn’t accidentally throw them away with the plastic packing. Mine are light gray.
Question:	The stairs are able to support my dog's weight, but if she goes up it quickly, it wobbles. Does anyone have recommendations to get that to stop
Answer:	I haven't seen a new cover offered anywhere. But this one does have a zipper where you can remove it to wash. Probably by the time the cover is thrashed you need a whole new set of stairs anyway.

Answer:	No, it’s good for a couch- the measurements should be listed on the description. Measure your couch and then check with the measurements.

Answer:	These stairs fold up. The back leg folds into the back of the stairs. This means that it requires a medium sized box and that can take longer in my opinion.

Question:	What is the heights of the pet gear easy steps
Answer:	I've owned two of these. My GSD wore a medium at 4 months. Now comfortably in a large by 11 months with room to grow at 80 lbs. Medium won't be too small for you at all but you'll end up in another harness at some point. Good luck!
Question:	how far apart are the stairs- and how far is 1st step from ground? thanks
Answer:	When we raised service dogs for Canine Companions for Independence, we were instructed not to leave Halties/Gentle Leaders, or leashes on the dog if they're out of our sight because they can learn to get them off. Same can be said for chewing. If you have to leave it on, you could get some spray product that discourages any chewing. Better yet, arrange to have sessions where the dog doesn't know you're watching and every time they go to chew squirt them with a mixture of 10 to 1 water and vinegar. It won't hurt them and it's great for discouraging negative behaviors. BUT you have to be 100% consistent andd don't let them see you doing it.
Question:	My dog is nervous about new things and I think might be hesitant to use stairs. Any idea how this goes with anxious dogs
Answer:	On my step for up to 150, it's 15 and 1/2 inches from floor to back of the top step. On my step unit that is for less heavy animals (I can't remember the actual weight) the height at the back of the top step is 16 inches, exactly. I hope that helps. My little dog loves them both, as do I. I really don't think you can go wrong on either unit. The key is the wider step so they can get on one before the move to the next, at least that's what The Baron, my dog, tells me...by his actions, of course. :) He's seven pounds.

Answer:	My 93 pound, 9 year-old dog uses them. I posted a video. It took three times of me coaxing her to put her feet on the steps, and physically putting her front feet on the bed for her to figure it out. Now, she LOVES them!

Answer:	It might be best to measure the height of the furniture your cat will using.
Question:	How do I stop it from moving while my dog coming down
Answer:	Some are turning steps “wrong” way to make them taller. This makes steps very steep and VERY unsteady/ wobbly. Correct bottom to steps has different black fabric. I tried this 1st b/c tall bed. My 8 lb. toy poodle wouldn’t get near steps b/c too steep. When I turned correctly, steps ~10 inches from top of bed. BUT to my surprise, after practicing a few times with her, my dog easily jumped from top step to bed. After ~2 days, she was a PRO! our other dog, short legged, little chubby Shih Tsu, scampers up them with no problem. I have the 5 step - just measured - height exactly 23in when positioned correctly. VERY pleased, nice quality.
