Question:	Does this have a "furry" texture that a dog's nails might get caught on? My dog is a digger and from the owner photos, looks worrisome to me. Thx
Answer:	I don't own this bed, but my dog is a digger/nester too. I've found that if I put a loose blanket in whatever bed she's using, she will dig and arrange the blanket rather than tear up the bed. This has been THE solution for me with her digging and nesting in her beds. She likes the cozy fleece ones. So I wonder if you got your dog this bed and also put a loose little blanket with it, like a cheap 50x60 throw, that might keep any tearing from happening, and those who own it say it's not looped fabric to get nails caught in.

Answer:	Have it on the floor. Soft but not firm. Also have one in solid plastic crate and it works very nice. Very pleased with them.

Answer:	Do the non skid dots come off in the washer? I have bought several kennel bedding and the darn dots come off. I wash on delicate cycle and cold water.

Answer:	Not super thick, but thick enough. You can kind of tell by looking at the pic. It is comfy for our dog who weighs 52 lbs, and it isn't obtrusive on our patio. I am glad I found it and would buy it again.

Answer:	A bed or cat mat is not related to a cat being in heat. Please spay or neuter your cat. Too many cats die every day in shelters.

Answer:	the pan at the top is 5 3/8" o.d. and 4.5" i.d. there is 2.5" flat bottom so it is a bit top heavy. is it 2 1/2" high - it is best used in a small, 6" sauce pan. I love this thing. I make my own chocolate chips and it's perfect for a double batch of those...capacity to the top is 2 cups so realistically, it is good for about 1 1/2 cups if stirring is to be done. it does not stand up on it's own empty and took to about 1/3 cup water before it did not tip over when free standing.

Question:	We need a bed to fit in our new soft side dog crate. What size is the small? what size is the medium
Answer:	I measured mine and it is 23x29. I have been using it since August and it has been washed once. I air dried it as per the instructions on the label.
Question:	Is this made with real memory foam? Several of the other orthopedic beds on Amazon say they are orthopedic but are foam pieces or egg crate
Answer:	Yes it's latex free, and apparently very comfy. My dogs both have one and they sleep all night long!
Question:	Can I buy a replacement cover for the large bed
Answer:	I loved it. He didn't seem to chew on it but when I boarded him he chewed it up at the boarding house. Not very durable in that regards but I highly recommend when he stops chewing. Washes up nice and it is attractive. He liked it at home.
Question:	How waterproof is the cover
Answer:	Yes, have washed it many times and still looks good. There is a slight difference in appearance after washing but not significant. Not a thick bed but it is a nice crate pad
