Answer:	Here are the cleaning instructions for this product: Wash the faux fleece cover on the gentle cycle with cold water, then line dry. The heated bed can be cleaned using a damp towel or sponge and mild dish washing detergent. DO NOT wash in a washing machine. To clean the house, wipe with a damp cloth.

Answer:	According to the manufactures website, it is 24/7. It takes about an hour to 2 to heat up to 102 deg and stays there. There is a heated side and a non-heated side.

Answer:	I would not consider this shelter as being waterproof. I believe the fabric itself may shed water but the zipper would probably admit water. I'm quite sure the bottom would admit standing water along the zippered seams. We used this shelter in a semi-protected space (small porch) and enclosed all but the opening with a black plastic bag. Not esthetic but effective. We have found homes for three of the lovely kittens born in it 55 days ago and Mom is scheduled to be spayed on July 1st.

Answer:	I bought this and returned it, it was to replace my Chihuahua's smelly old heated bed. This one did not heat up that well, I would look for a better one if heat is what your wanting. The heating pad on this one was disappointing. The triangular structure was well made but the heating pad, was weak.

Answer:	The shelter has a flexible inner insulating layer, between 1/4 and 1/2 inch thick, covered with fabric. The only openings are the door, which comes with a removable plastic cover the cat can push in/out for access, and a small hole in the rear for the warming pad electrical cord to exit. The rear half of the pad has a water-proof warmer; the front half doesn't. The pad produces mild warmth when powered, but nothing like a home heating pad. So I feel comfortable that it protects the outdoor cat that adopted us against wind, blowing rain, and mild winter temperatures. We live in Texas, and our shelter is on a bench on a covered porch. So our winters are mild and the location is somewhat sheltered. If I lived in the northern US with long, frigid winters, or the shelter were more exposed to the elements, I'd definitely want something with more protection and a warmer heat source.

Answer:	You can, but you have to disconnect the legs and basically take it apart to do so. To make life easier we just but a fleece blanket on top of it and wash that once a week.

Answer:	The cord is 5.5 feet long. The electrical cord has 115 volts so chewing on it is the same as chewing on an extension cord. It is best to use this on a GFCI protected circuit or outlet, which should always be used outdoors or in garages anyway.

Answer:	It will be fine. Our dog is an older female and has bladder problems and leaks a lot. She loves her bed.

Answer:	I don't think I would. I think it has wires in it so it probably wouldn't be too good to bend it in half. If its a small one, maybe you could put clothes in between so it wouldn't be bent so much.

And if your grand dog is the type to root around in the blankets before he/she lays down, as mine does, this bed is not ideal. The "mattress" part attaches with velcro to the bed and will become dislodged. The bed stuffing will also become very lumpy. I was constantly fixing the bed and smoothing the mattress..

Answer:	It will go around.It is strechy all around and the head of the bed end has one long piece of sturdy elastic but unless you attach the skirt to the platform it wont stay in place.I am thinking thumb tacks or Velcro strips every few inches.I love my bed skirt.I had to get bed pins that twist into my box springs to keep it in place every few inches, but so much easier to take on and off without having to move the mattress on and off to but the usual bed skirt style on.

Answer:	I am pretty sure it will be big enough. The dimensions of the bed is 17" X 22". If you have something about that size to lay on the floor such as a towel or rug you can check the fit. I purchased the large size because I have a blue heeler and a dachshund/terrier mix. They both love the cot. I place a dog cushion that fits on the top so it's even more comfortable.

Answer:	I wondered the same thing! But I did notice the small size comes from a different state, which might have something to do with it. Contact Customer Service for how to get small size replacement pads.
