Answer:	I just measured the inside of mine and it's 22" long (max), 13 1/2 h and 13" wide - a tight fit for your kitty. I would agree with several of your other responders -ok for short distances, though would avoid for longer distances. You want your best friends to be more than comfortable. (mine inside measures 22"l x 13.5"w and 13"h. Personally, I would opt to the next size up.
Question:	Is there a cover that comes off easily to wash
Answer:	I have a 12.7 lb cat that went in so easy from the top. I put it in the car first.(back seat) I propped the top door open against the seat and he went right in. At the Vets office I had to wait in the exam room for a bit and opened the top,while sitting next to my chair, and he popped his head out the top and I just pet him while we were waiting. He's usually afraid, but I think because the top was open he felt better. My Vet even commented on how nice it was and even asked about where I had gotten it. I love this carrier!

Answer:	It is made of cotton and fleece so it is not completely waterproof but it is not super absorbent. It does wash up well in the washing machine. It's not the most beautiful crate pad I ever purchased but It's a little more comfy than the waterproof models without being too warm for summer months. If you're concerned about puppy accidents, the bottom line is that any crate pad you buy will need a trip to the laundry room when/if accidents happen. Just remember, life is better with puppy kisses!!!

Answer:	I kept it laid out over night and it expand to nearly 3 inch thick. This is good for puppies or inside crates/back of cars.

Answer:	I don’t think the foam is fluid resistant. My dog has never peed on it. I would recommend putting a mattress cover on it.

Answer:	Write to the seller! Thats crazy! It might have been return that they didn't check? Idk The cover is nice and removable,so I bet someone returned it without the cover.Im Sure the seller will make it right.Good quality cover.

Answer:	If you want to keep the foam from getting wet in case of an accident, look into the thin waterproof pads made for baby cribs/changing tables/play yards. They are an inexpensive, easily washable solution available in different sizes. Just slide one inside the cover on top of the foam.

Question:	How long does it take to expand? They seem really thin and I got two for my dogs with arthritis
Answer:	I purchased the large 42" bed. The zipper covered two sides (length and width).
Question:	How long will it take for the foam to fill out
Answer:	no it is not waterproof to my knowledge but we have a 70 lb dog and she loves it and it does support her, she is a Weimariner and is a big girl and it supports her well

Answer:	Im not sure how the difference in answers is so different. Mine is only about 2.5 inches thick
