Answer:	The bike tire that they are supposed to fit are usually to small. I would just go with a Kevlar lining and a puncher proof tire.

Answer:	Greetings, the valve stem length is just less than 1 1/2" on both the schrader & the presto valves. I suggest you stick with the reg. tube. The thorn resistant tube seems to always fail at the valve stem base . Just my experience .
