Answer:	No, it's not wood. Not sure where it says carved, but a better word would be "engraved". It's a beautiful urn. The brown is beautiful as it holds my beloved "chocolate lab".

Answer:	Mine had a couple imperfections; scratches and dents, nothing serious though. Tbh I dont plan on opening it or touching it often so I dont see it as that much of an issue though considering there are no issues with the side that has the picture that most people will be looking at.

Answer:	There is a wooden door that is screwed shut. After you unscrew it the bottom slides off and it leaves the entire bottom of the box open. So it’s gives you a large area to put ashes in, no cramming or pouring or nonsense. We were able to gently place the entire bag of our 70 lb lab in with room to spare. After sliding the bottom back on, we screwed it tightly shut and knew he was secure. A small or “precision” Phillips screwdriver is needed. Also it is a little hard to open and close, but it’s supposed to be that way to keep your pet secure inside.

This is a custom pet memory box, perfect for storing precious keepsakes and/or contained ashes. We know it is no easy thing to lose your best friend.



Each box is handcrafted from wood and finished in your choice of stain on pine or natural mineral oil on walnut, mahogany, cherry wood or aromatic cedar. The top of the lid is engraved with a name, a special quote or short poem, and years of life. Fonts will be same as pictured.

NOTE: the "Harley" Box pictured in the main photo is pine with Medium stain.

Please note, ashes should be in a durable bag or container before resting in the box as it is not airtight.

• Measures 8.5” long. 6” wide, and 7.25” tall.
• Inside box dimensions: 7” long, 4.5” wide, and 6” tall.
• Holds ashes for pets up to 180 lbs.

You also have the option to send us a photo of your beloved pet and we can print it directly on a wood insert using a state-of-the-art, permanent dye-sublimation process. The insert is removable, so you can replace it with a different photo later if you wish.

Walnut, Mahogany and Cherry woods are unlikely to have knots, although as these are all made from real wood, it is possible. 

Pine wood may have knots. 

Cedar wood will almost certainly have knots. It features red, pink and white wood tones with a very aromatic smell.

Question:	How do you indicate that you want the pet's name in print instead of cursive? I don't see an option for that but it's pictured both ways
Answer:	Hi there! When entering your personalization, please leave a note stating that you'd like print font for the name. If you run out of space, you can feel free to send us a message with your request using the "Contact Seller" button.
Question:	Is it possible to purchase a rush order or expedited shipping if needed by a specific date

Question:	Can the ashes of two dogs be added to a box at different times
Answer:	Hi Ivy, Thank you for your interest in our memory box. I think our wonderful customers have essentially answered the question. The only constraint is if your two pooches are/were large dogs. The box is designed to hold about 170 pounds worth of ashes. One other consideration is in what type of container the ashes are stored. Answer:	Hi, yes there is plenty of room for that. If your pet weighs 10 lbs. you will need an urn that is 20 cubic inches, this is much larger. I hope this information can help you.
