Answer:	I just got the pig tail I'm going to use to run mine off a remote 12 volt battery. I plugged the pig tail in to the input while I had batteries in the unit and checked the bare wire ends with my volt meter and I can concur it is center positive. 3.5mmX1.35mm male plug fits.

Answer:	Absolutely! But you will need to empty it more frequently. Mine gets full from 1 cat in about 10 days, but I suppose that might vary with your cat. I have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes and I keep the litter genie right next to each litter box. Otherwise, you are carting the container around from box to box when you empty them. I think they are worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Answer:	I don’t have a dog right now but I measured the opening in which you would insert your bag. You only have 4 x 4 1/4”. I think it would depend on how large a dog you have 😊

Answer:	You know, I can't recall if it came with a refill cartridge so I'd say that if it doesn't list it in the description then it does not. I know that mine definitely came with the scooper and holder on the side, though I threw out the scooper and just used my metal one as I like it better than the plastic option. I just ordered a bunch of refills at the same time as I ordered the box. The refills may seem pricey, but so long as you are smart about how you use them they will go a long ways. I have two cats and have to change out the bag maybe once every one and a half to two weeks

Answer:	The product is okay and worth the price for the canister, but the refill bags are waaaaay overpriced! Pros: Pretty much comes assembled . Easy to use Cons: Refills are too expensive . Pulling out the bag takes a little practice . The scoop holder does not snap and hold into place . Awkward to open slide (takes two hands) . Awkward to open canister bottom (takes two hands) . Awkward to move around (takes two hands) . Awkward to pull down new bag (takes two hands) . Latch doesn't hold tight Now for my hacks to improve some features. 1. Place a weight in the bottom portion of the pail. Doing so will aid in the stability of product for opening bottom portion and pulling out the slide. This is a minor annoyance, but sometimes you just may not be able to use two hands all the time to perform some operations. 2. If you need to move your canister from room to room. You need to secure that cheap latch. Get yourself a couple a large size washer, a wingnut, and a screw. Make sure the screw fit the wingnut. Make sure the washer is large enough to cover the opening of the outside opening cutout. Drill a hole through the tab. Place a washer onto the screw. Push the screw and washer through the drilled hole. Place the second washer onto the screw. Thread the wingnut onto the screw. Now just tighten the wingnut and secure the top to the bottom. 3. Keep a used-up refill cartridge to use for wrapping a much less expensive bag around the cartridge. It's a little more inconvenient, but you can use other bags for a fraction of the cost of their product! 4. Place a "stick-up" on the underside of the top lid. I found if you remove the sticky tape from the stick-up, and replace it with a Velcro tab, then you can keep reusing the same stick-up holder. When you need to get a new stick-up just pull the scented product out and place it in the holder attached to your lid. 5. Buy a bag of small zip ties (4"). A bag cost about $5 bucks for 200. You can get 1000 for about $10 bucks on Amazon. Use the zip ties to close the ends of the bags. Before you go to cut your bag, place a z two zip ties about an inch or two apart. Zip them good and tight. Now cut the bag. The one you are disposing is good to go. The new pull-down bag is ready to be pulled down. I found you waste a smaller number of bags this way. 6. If you prefer to use other less expensive bags, I found wrapping the bag around the outside of the used cartridge works better and is more secure. That way the cartridge holder itself is holding the bag in place. Btw. There is a learning curve to finding the bag end. First time I pulled the bag down it was doubled up big waste! You must feel around to find the end. Once you find it, it is easy to pull out. Bottom line, yes, I recommend the product. Yes, the cartridges are overpriced, but they work. The canister does its job but is a little flimsy. This set-up works for me, because I live in a condo and making daily trips to the dumpster just wasn't getting it. Final thought: After reading all this nonsense, I realized I really need to get out more, maybe even find a girlfriend? Retired life must be getting to me! LOL Btw, any company that limits its customer to post reviews about their product, at best is a suspicious company and product!

Answer:	The larger Litter Genie has been labeled "Plus" and has more bags in the refills than the standard Litter Genies and the "standard" Genie refills. The "standard" Litter Genie and refills is the Original one. The PLUS is a larger and taller unit than the original.

Answer:	I have the 24 oz. water bottles from Contigo; they fit in the side pouches of mine. The bottles have about a 3 inch diameter and stick out, above the flaps covering the side pouches. Hope that helps someone! :)

Answer:	We have 9 of them and they are all a light beige.

Answer:	I just received one and it did come with any bags, a scoop, and a side holder for the scoop. The bags were not installed, but were in the bottom of the Genie.
Question:	Will this work with dog poop bags
Answer:	I think it would depend on the dog. Large dog and large poop? NO. The scoop and opening are on the small side. If you do have a small dog/small poop, you'll need to allow time to dry before dumping it in the Litter Genie or it will stick to the liner in the top instead of sliding down to the waste bin. It works with cats because litter clings to the waste making it dry. Forgive me if this is a bit graphic, but we are talking about dealing with pet waste...
Question:	How do I find the bags you include, I have the disposal pail and we love it
Answer:	YES! I found this hack and it works awesome! I wouldn't recommend using grocery bags as they will rip too easily and often have tiny holes at the bottom that will make a mess later. Get some 8 or 10 gallon (I use 8) trash bags. KEEP THE BLACK CARTRIDGE from your last used up genie refill. While holding the empty black cartridge, put the trash bag into the center (hole) of the cartridge. Fold the ends of the garbage bag around the edges of the black cartridge and replace in genie. Open the trap and push the garbage bag through as you would for the regular genie refills. Viola! CHEAP refills! :-)

Question:	Is this litterlocker or litter locker 2 ? All websites direct me to this amazon ad when searching litterlocker 2? I can’t find the pics of the 2 I see
Answer:	I agree with the person that said that dog bags might be to shallow. The bags that came with it measured about 19" deep and held our single adult cats clumping litter of two weeks. On the bad side Amazon and every site I have gone to does not carry replacement bags. Re grocery bags I'm not happy with them. To many are not strong enough and pull away from the tabs or get a hole in the bottom. I saw a review and the recommendation that a 3 gallon bag while a bit large works out. Other than that I like the concept but am disappointed with customer support.

Answer:	The odor is controlled by closing the cover with graphite filter so that outside does not smell. If you are asking if the odor will transfer from inner plastic basket to outer basket, I can't speak to that but I think that will take a long time and then you can buy a new basket. All I can say that I had it for two months and I am happy with it and I am not an easy customer.

Champion Pet Foods, the manufacturer of Orijen, built and opened a huge kitchen facility in Kentucky, and has moved production of all kibble sold in the US there. The recipes are the same, but as they source all ingredients locally, there are slight differences between the product made there vs. their Canadian facility. The new packaging (including the pictures on Amazon) reflect this change, albeit the overall design is very similar. Sorry for the confusion; your remarks have been passed on to Champion.

Question:	Would this work with fireplace smell? It’s summer but on rainy or humid days I can smell the fireplace sometimes
Answer:	No. I put one in my fireplace over the summer for the same reason you mentioned. It did not work.
Question:	Is this product scented
Answer:	There is a lavender version but the original is unscented. When initially opened there is a smell to it but it quickly dissipates. This is a great product. I keep it near litter boxes and in my bedroom where my dog spends much of her time.
Question:	Has anyone used this product in basements that have a musty smell? Does it work
Answer:	It will remove most of the odor however if a dehumidifier is used in conjunction with Fresh Wave it WILL bring the 'clean air' symptom back to the basement. We have a guest house that stays closed up until visitors show-up. If I don't use the dehumidifier the moisture will remain and the musty odor stays. If I run the dehumidifier a couple times a month and keep the Fresh Air container open the entire little two story house will stay VERY comfortable, odor-wise, as in 'none' - except for the Fresh Air comfort. The little house is over 30 yrs old and sits right on the ground in the woods, so internal moisture is a very definite problem. Took me a LONG time to find a fix. Absolutely love Fresh Air.
Question:	does this have Tea Tree Oil in it
Answer:	I have only the spray at present and I checked the ingredients.They are: water and extracts of lime, pine needle, aniseed, clove and cedarwood.The fragrance is natural and pleasing. Hope this helps.
