Answer:	i had the same issue with an older cat. would poop in the box but pee on my carpet. i put pee pee pads everywhere and she would not use them. i was shampooing carpet 3 times a day to catch it while it was still wet. Answer:	Yes, it does. I have clumping cat litter for my cat. And I have seen a dramatic decrease in cat litter being all over everywhere. DONT GET THE MAT WET!!! I know some people say it's washable, maybe, but I'm not taking any chances. It does come up with a vaccum hose. Question:	Is this mat heavy and rigid enough to not double up when "pawed" at by a cat trying to make a nest to pee on
Answer:	The mat is heavy and rigid, and i doubt would double up. I am not sure if the cat will want to paw it or not. I decided to put mine under the box and leave some showing in front of nox where cat exits and a bunch of litter falls off his feet. I tgen have mats with tight weaves around the area fir him to paw amd habe something to let cat really wipe paws. Then i use a mini sweeper and dust pan to sweep litter from gray mat and catch it on the edge.

Four Steps to Solve Folds

1.please open the mat and fold it in the opposite direction of the creases, give a good firm press on the creases area.

2. Put some weight on the folds for a few days. Mats will turn into flat in a few day.

3.This step is optional. Using a hairdryer to heat the folds would be better.

Wear-resistant Edge

It is made of EVA material, and has strong stitching. To empty it, simply spread the middle of the two layers apart and let the debris fall into the trash or quickly reuse in the litter box with little to be no mess.

Question:	Is this mat BPA-free
Answer:	As I read the description, its free of other toxins so I'm not sure what those other toxins are but I would imagine that could be included.
Question:	Can you get the litter out of the little mesh web? Don't the pieces get stuck in the mat
Answer:	Litter shakes out easily from mat. Also can be vacuumed out quickly. I'm very pleased with this litter mat.

Question:	does this mat come in a smaller size
Answer:	We don't make our mats in any sizes smaller than our Extra Large size. Smaller mats simply don't work very well as there isn't enough surface area to catch litter. We refuse to sell a product that doesn't have superior performance, and that's why we don't carry smaller sized mats.

Answer:	Yes, it is machine washable with Soft / Gentle mode. However, please do NOT mix wash with your cloth.
