Answer:	I had the same question. In my case I wondered because my projector came with a 'Quick Start Guide' in a plastic bag that was labeled ML550 but the ML550 was crossed out with a black marker. All I could find was that the serial number on the bottom of my projector did match the label on the box that the projector came in. That label listed both the model number and serial number. Alternately you can go to the Optoma website and click on the 'Support' tab and then select the 'Model Number Locator' and enter the projectors 17 digit serial number. Answer:	My screen is a 128" screen. You will need 122" from mount to mount. I painted and mounted two 24" 2x4 pieces of wood so that they were mounted to the 2x4s behind the sheet rock. I then mounted the screen to the wood. You can't see the wood behind the screen. This also allows us to have a picture on the wall that the screen then covers when it drops down.
Question:	I got a ML750 Model, but how do i know it's really a 750 and not a 550 as the Model number is not on the Unit and both models look exactly the same

Answer:	It enables you to connect the projector to your laptop computer, tablet, or phone either through a direct wireless connection between them, or by using a local hotspot like Jetpack to create a local network. Then you can mirror your device on the projector, and whatever is showing on the device screen will be projected without the computer being physically tied to the projector.
Question:	does this have capability to be mounted to the ceiling
Answer:	I don't think you could mount it to the ceiling unless you turned it upside-down. and flipped the projection as Nicholas suggests in his answer. On the bottom, there is a bolt fitting (like the kind you find on the bottom of good camera's for mounting on tri-pods). There are many controls on the top and no place to attach any hardware on the top. I suppose you could also fabricate a little platform and place it on the platform, but then you would still have trouble accessing the controls. With it flipped, this would not be a problem. I really like this projector. White and color brightness are great and it's reasonably silent.

Question:	Is this a side throw projector? Like can I mount it to the left of projector and center picture perfectly on screen
Answer:	I recently did a book talk in a venue open completely at the east end and with double doors open to the west at 7 pm as the sun was going down behind the trees, but it was still very light (the cool Coast Guard Chapel on Bois Blanc Island in the Straits of Mackinac) and images were clearly visible, but I doubt using it outside during the daytime would work well with this or any other projector. Like slides or movies or anything projected by light, the darker the surroundings, the sharper and brighter the projected images.

How big is your pool, or more specifically what would the distance be to the screen on the other side? What is the aspect ratio of your signal, 4:3 or 16:9? If your pool is 15' and you allow for 2.5' on either size you get a projected distance of 20'. At that distance this projector can zoom the size of a projected 16:9 image to 121"-197"(that's the diagonal measurement, corner to corner). Answer:	It is all about the money, you can use any Outdoor weather proof amplified speaker. The EH412ST has audio output, if you can put the speaker speaker close to the EH412ST, just run one cable from the projetor to the amplified speaker.
Question:	Does it have a digital zoom or a way to crop the sides? It seems like you would have to be spot on mounting in order to fit a screen perfectly wo zoom
Answer:	It will have a digital zoom, but we usually recommend not using it. Since it can lower the quality of your image. With a short throw projector like this one, you do need to mount it pretty close to perfect. Answer:	Yes, there is a fixed hanger hole at the bottom of the projector for mounting. If you want to mount it on ceiling, you need to buy a hanger. Have any other question,please feel free to contact us.

Answer:	I think I had this problem too. No signal means the devices aren't communicating. Try changing the input selection on the projector and see if it will find the right setting. In other words, if the projector is on AV (for example) and it's connected with an HDMI cord, try switching the projector to HDMI and see if that helps.

Question:	How small of an image can it project, and from what distance
Answer:	Have not tried to put it very close to a viewing area so I am just guessing here but I think you could get to about 12" size before loosing clarity. It is after all for projection onto a larger viewing area.
Question:	what is the life time of the LAMP? is it a replaceable part
Answer:	I don't own this particular projector, but it is DLP LED technology, not a standard lamp. DLP LED technology is solid state and low heat, and will last for tens of thousands of hours. I highly doubt you can even change the "lamp" at all. This projector will become obsolete long before the lamp burns out. At a life expectancy of 30,000 hours, you could leave this projector on for 3-1/2 years. If you use it occasionally, you will never have to replace the imager.
Question:	Can you play a video directly from a USB thumb drive or would I need a media player for that
Answer:	The usb is for charging devices ( or powering a Roku/Chromecast). Sadly. It can't play media directly.
Question:	Can a Tripod be adapted to it
Answer:	I use a mini-tripod with mine to get it off the desk/table and allow for a little bit of aiming. It has no leveling legs or adjustments otherwise.

Answer:	Really good for gaming. I enjoy the big screen and amazing detail. Downside as with any projector is the heating of the projector. Two units with major power will get hot. Consider the ventilation carefully when placing the items together.
